According to the 2010-2015 year trend forecast and opportunity analysis of the global glass fiber market, the total consumption level of the glass fiber market is expected to maintain an annual growth rate of 6.3% in the next 5 years.
The market share of Taiwan Glass Group is third in the world.
Because the market demand of this product is large, the existing production capacity of TBO has not been satisfied, so it is urgent to launch it as soon as possible.
Lin Bofeng, chairman of Taiwan Glass Group, attended the signing ceremony.
In an interview with reporters, he revealed that the project has been put on the development agenda of the company since 2008 and has been considered before settling down in Wuhan. However, the great potential for development in the West and the superior soft environment in Chengdu and Qingbaijiang have finally led the high-end project to be put in Qingbaijiang.
It is reported that since 2003, Taiwan Glass Group has invested 185 million US dollars in the construction of four projects in Qingbaijiang District, including 700 tons of Nissan, 900 tons of float glass production lines and two Low-E coated glass production lines.
The total output value of Chengdu Glass Co., Ltd. will reach 2 billion 500 million yuan after the completion of the project with an annual output of 60 thousand tons of electronic grade alkali free fiber yarn and cloth.
The project is scheduled to start before the end of this year and completed and put into operation in February 2012.
After the project is completed, the annual sales revenue is estimated to be 1 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue is 80 million yuan, which can provide 700 jobs.
