Uzbekistan'S "First Daughter" Design Costumes Appear In New York

Uzbekistan president daughter Gulnara Karimova's new work is in Zhou Liang's fashion week in New York.

The 38 year old Uzbekistan's "first daughter" Gulnara Karimova (Gulnara Karimova)'s own brand "Guli" appeared in New York fashion week on the 10 day. Compared with other shows, the costumes she displayed had obvious differences. Rich colors and irregular drawings showed strong national flavor.

Karimova, a designer, says her design concept is to combine national characteristics with modern fashions.

Karimova told fashion reporters: "my work has been shown in Milan, and there is a big market in Europe. I think New York is an interesting place, so I came here."

Karimova lives in Geneva, Switzerland, because she is a permanent representative of Uzbekistan to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva.

As early as 1992, she studied jewelry design at the New York Fashion Institute. Her long dream was to enter the international fashion industry.

Swiss Finance magazine Bilan named her one of the ten richest women in Switzerland. Last December, she had about $600 million in wealth.
