The awarding ceremony of the first Liaoning Fashion Designer Award was held in Dalian.

More than 500 people attended the award ceremony, including industry leaders, entrepreneurs, designers, fashion media, teachers and students in clothing colleges and so on.

Jiang Hengjie, executive vice president of China clothing association, Lin Xiaogang, deputy director of Liaoning economic and Information Committee, Cao Aihua, vice mayor of Dalian Municipal Committee and Li Qingxiang, President of Liaoning Textile Industry Association, presented prizes to the winners.

This activity has been supported and recommended by the competent departments and relevant units of all cities in the province. Through the preliminary review of the expert review committee, the comprehensive quality assessment and the presentation and evaluation of the work reply, the "master of costume design in Liaoning" was finally produced.

Yang Ruiliang, Eastern Liaoning University School of clothing and textile, Dalian Vocational Academy of Art, Dalian Vocational Academy of Art and other 11 designers were awarded the "Liaoning Province clothing design master" title.

The award ceremony shows the works of master designers, a visual feast for the radiant color, and the audience of the scene to the Liaoning clothing industry.

In recent years, the garment industry in Liaoning has developed rapidly. The number of Enterprises above designated size has reached 800 households, and it has increased by about 200 annually in the past 3 years.

The main business accounts for more than 50% of the total textile industry in the province, and the value of export delivery accounts for nearly 80% of the total industry. It has become the leading force in the textile industry of the whole province, occupying half of the country.

The organizers of this event are hoping that under the leadership of designers, the design ability of Liaoning's garment industry will be improved rapidly, and the local clothing brands in Liaoning will thrive.
