Since the beginning of this year, Tianjin has eliminated backward production capacity as a means to speed up the pformation of the mode of economic development, adjust and optimize the industrial structure, and improve.

The quality and efficiency of growth and the important measures to build high-end industrial highlands were learned by reporters from the Municipal Economic and Information Commission. At present, according to the target and tasks assigned by the state, 6 industries are involved in the elimination of backward production capacity in the industrial sector of the city.

All the backward equipment has been shut down, the backward production lines have been removed, and the elimination task of the state has been completed ahead of schedule.

In accordance with the "Notice of the State Council on Further Strengthening the elimination of backward production capacity" and the Ministry of industry and information department's "Circular on the target of eliminating backward production capacity in 2010", the iron and steel industry in Tianjin will eliminate 1 million 400 thousand tons of backward iron making capacity by the end of September this year. The building materials industry should eliminate 600 thousand tons of backward cement production capacity, and the textile industry will eliminate 10 million meters of dyed cloth. This involves the 2 iron and steel enterprises of our group, Tianfeng iron and Steel Co. Ltd., Tianchang iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Baodi District Chao Feng building materials Co., Ltd., City Feilong building materials Co., Ltd., Ninghe Tianlong cement plant 3 cement enterprises, and Ninghe dyeing and finishing plant 6 enterprises.

At present, all 6 enterprises have closed down the backward equipment, demolished the backward production line, and completed the national elimination task ahead of schedule.

Among them, the printing and dyeing cloth eliminated backward production capacity of 25 million meters, exceeding the task of 10 million meters issued by the state.
