Reduce cost variance and win

Moderator: how much is the cost of innovating shoe materials? Can products sell at high prices?

Xiong Yiqing: the added value of innovative shoe materials is much higher than that of new materials.

Enterprises can try to use some highly functional shoe materials to make differentiated shoes products, so as to improve market share.

It is worth noting that at present, the threshold of imitation products in shoe industry is relatively low. While promoting the function and environmental protection materials of enterprises, enterprises should also keep trade secrets for themselves and prevent other enterprises from copying.

Ding Zongyin: when new shoes are being used, the cost may continue to rise. But when the workers are trained and used, the average shoe-making cost can be reduced by 20% - 25% compared to the cost of using old materials, which also makes up for the profit gap that the enterprises have to increase.

Of course, the reduction of the cost of new shoe materials will also be reflected in the retail price in the form of price, which means that consumers can buy environmentally friendly shoes at a lower price.

For example, the new shoe material per unit may be 2 times more expensive than the traditional shoe material, but the actual consumption may be only in the traditional shoe material 1/3.

From the experience of some factories, the cost of converting new and old materials is the most expensive.

When workers begin to be proficient in using new shoe materials to make shoes, the cost of innovative shoe materials will gradually decrease.
