According to the monitoring released by the Ministry of Commerce on 7, in from October 1st to 7th, the retail and catering industry achieved a retail sales of about 592 billion 500 million yuan, which increased by 18.7% in comparison with the "eleven" golden week in 2009 and increased by 0.7 percentage points.
According to the Ministry of Commerce monitoring, the retail sales of consumer goods in Henan, Shaanxi and Sichuan increased by 22%, 22% and 21.5%, respectively, compared with the "eleven" golden week, while Heilongjiang, Guangdong and Anhui increased by 21.2%, 20% and 19% respectively.

Under the stimulation of "home appliances to the countryside" and "preferential policies such as replacing the old" and the promotion activities of various shopping centers, the green energy-saving household appliances market is showing blowout. Large screen flat-panel televisions, energy saving refrigerators, intelligent washing machines and low-carbon and environment-friendly appliances have been well received.
According to the Ministry of Commerce monitoring, during this year's "eleven" period, the market for local necessities is ample, and the varieties are complete. The prices of vegetables and meat have risen slightly, while the prices of other varieties have fluctuated slightly.
The average wholesale prices of 18 vegetables in major and medium-sized cities increased by 3.8% compared with the pre holiday season (the same below). The wholesale price of vegetables in Hainan increased by 5.8% under the influence of heavy rain. Of them, cucumber, tomato and pepper increased by 19.4%, 16.2% and 13.9% respectively.
The average wholesale price of meat increased slightly, while lamb, pork and beef increased by 1%, 0.7% and 0.7% respectively.
Retail prices of edible oil rose steadily, rapeseed oil and peanut oil rose 0.4% and 0.2% respectively, and soybean oil decreased by 0.2%.
Retail prices of white sugar and white chicken rose by 0.9% and 0.7% respectively.
The retail price of small package rice and small packing flour is equal to the pre Festival price.
Retail prices of eggs fell by 0.7%.
