From Quanzhou Normal University, Liming Vocational University and Quanzhou Textile Garment Institute, the three schools have set up the school of design and engineering of the Institute of footwear and clothing, as the two level college affiliated to the Institute of shoes and clothing, and set up specialized teaching points in the Department of education, focusing on building the professional group of footwear and clothing industry from materials, design, technology, production management to marketing.

With the lead of Quanzhou textile and Clothing Institute, the Quanzhou textile and clothing vocational education group is formed jointly by relevant vocational colleges, Quanzhou clothing and textile chamber of Commerce, industry association and Quanzhou famous footwear enterprises on the ground of Quanzhou, strengthening school enterprise cooperation, studying various related specialties and formulating talent training programs, introducing Taiwan and international teachers and advanced teaching ideas, carrying out "order training" or "directional training" to meet the demand for the quality of talents.
