With the theme of "New Silk Road" as the theme, in order to enable more designers to participate in the event and create an atmosphere for understanding silk and designing atmosphere, the competition adopted a bottom-up selection method, which first divided the preliminaries of the competition area effect and the ready-made clothes, and then the national finals.

Since the beginning of July, the renderings have been organized in four divisions of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Sichuan, and nearly 72 entries have been selected from the nearly 400 manuscripts.

After rigorous assessment by the expert judges, 28 works with high artistic standards and practicality were screened for the national finals.

The competition has added the selection of the best creative award, the best costume matching award, the best fabric Innovation Award, the best craft award and the most market potential award to five individual awards. This will give a more comprehensive survey of the athletes' understanding and application level of silk characteristics, and show the excellent standard of domestic silk product design.

There are more than 1600 tie enterprises and more than 50 thousand employees in the city, with nearly 350 million ties and 1.6 exports each year.
