    1.1 comparison of suction, moisture release and cooling properties of bamboo pulp, cotton and polyester


    According to the test method of water drying loss rate of fabric, the moisture absorption and cooling properties of bamboo pulp fiber, cotton and polyester were measured by the water droplet diffusion time and diffusion area test method. Table 1.

    Note: the two indexes of surface suction, moisture release value and contact cold sensation indicate moisture absorption and moisture release.


    It can be seen from table 1 that the suction and moisture release of bamboo fiber textile is 2.12 times that of cotton. The moisture absorption of bamboo pulp / polyester 50/50 fabric is close to cotton, indicating that the fabric has high moisture absorption and quick dry property, and its touch is cooler than cotton, wool and polyester fabric.


    1.2 comparison of hygroscopicity of bamboo fiber and viscose


    The moisture absorption property of bamboo pulp fiber is obviously higher than that of other fibers, which is known as breathing fiber in industry. The moisture regain of bamboo pulp fiber in standard condition is 13%, which is similar to viscose fiber. However, when bamboo pulp fiber is at 20 and 95% relative humidity, moisture regain can reach 45%, moisture absorption speed is very fast, moisture regain is increased from 8.75% to 45%, only 6h.

    The moisture regain of viscose fiber at 20 and 95% relative humidity is 30%, and moisture regain is increased from 9.12 to 30%, which needs more than 8h.


    1.3 bacteriostasis of bamboo pulp fiber, cotton and viscose

    It can be seen from table 2 that the antibacterial property of cotton fiber is poor, the antibacterial property of viscose fiber is not obvious, and bamboo pulp fiber has good bacteriostatic effect, and its bacteriostatic effect has certain broad-spectrum effect.


    1.4 deodorizing effect comparison of bamboo pulp and cotton


    Bamboo pulp fiber has a natural odor resistance, mainly fiber contains chlorophyll and chlorophyllin, copper and other odorant substances, these odorant substances through the adsorption odor and oxidation decomposition way to remove odor, in addition, bamboo fiber fast sweat, so that the microorganism's survival environment is poor, also can achieve the effect of deodorization.

    The results of comparative experiments are shown in Table 3.

    1.5 comparison of heat resistance of bamboo pulp, cotton and viscose


    The heat resistance of viscose fiber is higher than that of cotton, while the heat resistance of bamboo fiber is better than that of viscose fiber. The strength change of cellulose fiber when heating is as shown in Table 4.

    從表中數據可以看出,當溫度由20℃升至75℃時,棉纖維的干斷裂強度下降了26%,粘膠纖維的干斷裂強度增加了12%,竹漿纖維的干斷裂強度增加了13%,說明在75℃時以下時粘膠纖維和竹漿纖維強度的變化相同;當溫度由75℃升至100℃時,棉纖維的干斷裂強度下降了7%,粘膠纖維的干斷裂強度下降了16%,而竹漿纖維的干斷裂強度卻只下降了1%,其原因在于:1)纖維素中水份消失而引起強度的改變;2)由于大分子間各鏈節的熱運動加劇而引起的強度降低;3)天竹纖維的多孔隙網狀結構對熱量傳導有緩沖作用;4)竹漿纖維、粘膠溶解性和白度比較;4)溶解度:竹漿纖維的溶解度比粘膠纖維要大,竹漿纖維在55.5%的硫酸溶液中的溶解度為32.16%,粘膠纖維為19.07%;5)白度:竹漿纖維白度一般在67%左右,粘膠纖維白度在72%以上。


     


    2 Comparison of cross sections of several fibers


    The identification of bamboo fiber has been perplexing the development of bamboo pulp fibers. The main difficulty is the difference from ordinary viscose fibers. The major scientific research institutes in China have also carried out research, such as dyeing method, cell observation method, gas phase spectrum method and liquid chromatography method. No breakthrough has been made. Therefore, the quantitative identification of bamboo pulp fiber is listed as a worldwide problem by industry experts.

    We are also committed to the study of this method. After several years' efforts, we have analyzed and summarized the identification criteria of textile materials, and explored the structural differences between bamboo fiber and viscose fiber.

    From the cross section of each fiber, the cross section shape is similar, the core layer structure is homogeneous, the cross section is smooth, not the pore structure.

    From all fiber cross sections, bamboo fiber has unique skin core mechanism. It seems to have a cavity in the middle, and is not affected by spinning force and dyeing conditions. Compared with viscose fiber, it has unique cross-sectional structure. It can be used as a way to identify viscose fiber and bamboo fiber.
