Shaoxing: Increase Sales, Disadvantaged

A business operator of a textile enterprise in Shaoxing has actively innovating, transforming the traditional export business mode in the past, and selling 2/3 of the products through foreign stores located in Nigeria and other places, and achieved good results.

Under the influence of high cotton prices, rising labor costs and uncertainties in the international market, Shaoxing's garment export enterprises are facing great challenges. How to solve the difficulties? Shaoxing textile enterprises have responded positively and accelerated their transformation, and have achieved good export performance this year.
According to the relevant departments, before October, the Shaoxing inspection and Quarantine Bureau accepted the 47 thousand and 200 batch of export garment inspection within the jurisdiction, with a quantity of 379 million 137 thousand and 400 pieces, with a value of 1 billion 340 million.
It is worth mentioning that in the first 10 months of exports, the average price per garment in Shaoxing also rose to $3.53, an increase of 13.33% over the same period last year.
According to statistics, there are nearly 700 export garment enterprises in Shaoxing. The main export commodities include trousers, tops, children's wear, knitted T-shirts, underwear and so on.
Shaoxing inspection and Quarantine Bureau official said, in the face of the fact that Shaoxing has many export clothing enterprises, the quality is uneven, the external environment is complicated, and so on, they have adopted a series of measures to promote clothing.
