In the first three quarters of this year, the city's new material industry completed 16 billion 680 million yuan in industrial output value, an increase of 54.1% over the same period last year.

The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Economic and Trade Commission told reporters that the new material industry in our city is mainly concentrated in new fibers and composite materials. At present, the new fiber industry base in Tongxiang and the provincial characteristic industrial base of Haining composite packaging materials have been built.

According to introduction, there are 22 new and high technology enterprises in the new material industry of our city, and their output accounts for 1/3 of the total output value of the high-tech enterprises in the city.

According to the data provided by the Municipal Economic and Trade Commission, in the first three quarters of this year, the city's energy saving, environmental protection and bio pharmaceutical industries respectively completed 1 billion 260 million yuan and 390 million yuan in industrial output value, respectively, representing an increase of 25.4% and 15.2% respectively.

According to the introduction, the industrial park also has a batch of projects with high technology content and huge market potential stationed in Zhejiang, such as Juying pharmaceutical, Zhejiang Huafu medical equipment, Zhejiang lien biotechnology and so on.

Up to now, the bio Pharmaceutical Industrial Park has gathered 14 enterprises. It is expected that this year's output value will exceed 1 billion yuan, an increase of over 50% over the same period.
