100 Year Big Designer Wu Jigang On The List

In a new book, Woman's Wear Daily, the American fashion magazine, has selected the outstanding designers of the fashion industry for the past 100 years, and Chinese American designer Ji Gang Jason has come on the list. Other names include coco Chanel (Coco Chanel), Amani (Giorgio Armani), Dior (Christian Dior) and other masters.

The women's Wear Daily recently published a new book, 100th anniversary, 100 designer, WWD 100 Years, 100 Designers, talking about hundreds of outstanding designers who have led the global fashion in the past century. Bridget Foley, editor in chief of the women's wear daily, said it was not easy to select hundreds of designers, especially to balance the trade-offs between the new designers like Wu Jigang and the masters such as Dior and Della Renta (Oscardela Renta).

But Frey found that although the fashion industry is always pursuing the new trend, there are some things that remain unchanged. "Many designers talk about design works and always mention women first. The best designers believe that although we need to innovate, we must take into account what women want to wear. For example, black is considered to be very modern, but women often choose black clothes since 1920s.

Other candidates included: Yamamoto Teruji (Yohji Yamamoto), Valencia plus (Cristobal Balenciaga), Klein (Calvin Klein), Donna Karen (Donna Karan), and Ji'an van Sachi (Gianni Versace) and Donna tra van sage (Donatella Versace).
