On the eve of "11th Five-Year", the autonomous region government formulated the "opinions on accelerating the development of advantageous agricultural industries", and established the development direction and development goal of Guangxi's agricultural dominant industries.

We should focus on accelerating the development of 11 dominant industries, including silkworm and edible fungi, and make it clear that the silkworm industry and other industries will become strong competitive industries in the whole country and even the whole world, and vigorously push forward agriculture.

During the "11th Five-Year" period, Guangxi promoted the dominant industries of advantageous agriculture to concentrate on the dominant areas, forming the edible fungus industrial belt of Guilin, Nanning and Laibin City, the three dominant silkworm industrial belts in Northwest Guangxi, Guangxi and Guangxi, and the main sugar cane industrial belt in Chongzuo, Laibin, Nanning and Liuzhou, the cassava dominant industrial belt in Southeast Guangxi, Guangxi and Guixi, the industrial belt of Northern Guangxi and central Guangxi, the southeast banana industrial belt around Jiang Hegui, and the litchi industrial belt in the south of Guangxi and Southeast Guangxi.

During the "11th Five-Year" period, Guangxi sugar cane, silkworm and cassava area ranked first in the country, and high-quality rice, bananas, citrus, vegetables, edible fungi, Chinese herbal medicines and other industries ranked the top in the country.

At the end of 11th Five-Year, sugar cane planting area increased from 10 million 660 thousand mu in 2005 to 15 million 460 thousand mu in 2010, and the output of cane sugar increased from 5 million 800 thousand tons to 7 million 220 thousand tons. The total output of cocoon reached 210 thousand tons, 42% higher than that of 2005 148 thousand; the total output of fruit was 8 million 300 thousand tons, 45% percent higher than 2005 5 million 716 thousand tons; the total output of edible fungi had reached 760 thousand tons, increased by more than that in 2005; the vegetable planting area in the whole area reached an acreage of mu, and the market supply was adequate.

In the past 5 years, the total value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in Guangxi increased from 144 billion 840 million yuan in 2005 to 233 billion 800 million yuan in 2010, an increase of 61%. The added value of agriculture increased from 91 billion 250 million yuan in 2005 to 153 billion 165 million yuan in 2010, an increase of 67.8%. The per capita net income of farmers increased from 2495 yuan in 2005 to 4380 yuan in 2010, an increase of 75.5%.

At the end of 11th Five-Year, the key agricultural industrialization leading enterprises in the region grew to 130, 45 more than in 2005, 5219 specialized cooperative organizations, 448 thousand and 300 members, 3269 and 198 thousand and 300 more than in 2005, 2 billion 405 million yuan in total assets of cooperatives, 10.36 times at the end of 2005.
