    It is understood that the first visual fabric exhibition (PremereVision), founded in 1973 in Paris, France, is the world's top textile material exposition, which is based on European textile enterprises and is open to textile professionals.

    Through years of accumulation, PV exhibition has become the weathervane of the global fabric trend and has established an authoritative position in the industry.

    At present, the exhibition is the only fabric exhibition in the world, which has sub exhibition in New York, Moscow, St Paul, Paris, Beijing, Shanghai and other global fashion landmark cities. Together with the four Expofil (Sha Xianzhan), Le Cuir Paris (Pi Jizhan), Indigo (fabric design exhibition), Mod 'Amont (excipient exhibition) held in the same period, the exhibition has formed the "first visual Salon".


    Nevertheless, the brand effect of the PV exhibition failed to drive the Japanese market out of the mire of weak demand.

    According to the organizers of the exhibition, at the second PV exhibition in Tokyo, although 2200 designers and buyers came to see the exhibition, the exhibitors who had been exhibiting through the PV channel dropped to 11 from the previous 28, and the order volume of the exhibition site did not meet the expectations of the exhibitors.

    The other sponsor of the exhibition, JITAC president Shan Xia, also showed the frustration of the current market situation: "although the form of the exhibition is facing adjustment and pformation, it is still very important for Japanese manufacturers and enterprises to get all kinds of information from the European market.

    We need to find out a business mode that can closely link the exhibition with the business. "


    Temporary exit does not mean permanent abandonment. Observing the current market situation, complying with market demand and anticipating market changes have always been the driving force behind the sustained development of PV.

    Philippe Pasquet said: "PV will carry out targeted work to the purchasers of Paris PV exhibition and 400 exhibitors of JITAC channel in the future.

    The two sides will continue to maintain various forms of exchange activities, and PV will also reconsider its operation mode in Japan.


    According to Yamashita, JITAC will be the only sponsor to hold the exhibition on March 22nd, ~24, next year. The venue will still be designated as Tokyo International Convention and Exhibition Center.

    The organizers hope that the next exhibition will have a breakthrough in size, and the European exhibition area is expected to expand from 3000 square meters to 5000 square meters.

    Compared with the depression in the Tokyo exhibition, the PV exhibition in Moscow in September and the Shanghai PV exhibition in October all handed out good pcripts.

    At the ninth Moscow PV exhibition, there were 76 exhibitors and 1200 spectators.

    The number of exhibitors in Shanghai PV exhibition also increased from 38 in 1 years ago to 43.

    A total of 43 exhibitors from 8 countries including France, Italy, Turkey and the United Kingdom were invited to host the PV exhibition in Shanghai in October. In the 2 days, 1829 people attended the exhibition.
