Turkey Al-Aqsa Will Set Up Second Carbon Fiber Production Lines
Akrilic Kimya Sanayii (Akrilic Kimya Sanayii) has achieved great success in the field of carbon fiber production, and at least within 25 years, no other new companies have entered this field. Al-aqsa (Akrilic Kimya Sanayii A.S.), located in Istanbul, Turkey, is accelerating investment in this field. Al-aqsa's board of directors decided to continue to invest in carbon fiber production, the company regarded carbon fiber as "strategic raw materials for twenty-first Century".
The board decided to increase the annual production capacity of the existing production line by 300 tons, and invest another 65 million US dollars to build two.

During the 2008-2009 years, Al-aqsa invested $85 million in carbon fiber technology and initial production facilities, which was completely designed by Turkey engineers.
The factory was formally completed in July 23, 2010, and El, Prime Minister of Turkey, started cutting the ribbon for the factory.
Al-aqsa's strategic goal is to increase the market share of its carbon fiber to 10% by 2020.
