Thailand'S Textile And Clothing Exports Increased By 20.2% In February 2011

Up to 18 billion 870 million US dollars, up 31% over the same period last year. We expect that Thailand's total export growth this year may exceed that of the Thailand government. The total export volume of Thailand before June 2010 and September will exceed US $18 billion in the 2 months.
On the import side, Thailand's total imports amounted to US $17 billion 100 million in February, an increase of 22.5% over the same period last year, of which import fuels increased by 64%, capital gains increased by 31.8%, and raw materials increased by 6.8%.
In terms of export classification statistics, Thailand's export of agricultural products increased by 33% to US $3 billion 330 million in February this year, of which rubber increased by international prices, exports increased by 85.5%, frozen and processed chicken exports increased by 35.6%, tapioca exports increased by 28.7%, rice exports increased by 23.9%, and cane sugar exports increased by domestic consumption but decreased by 18.2%;
Secondly, the export of industrial products increased by 30% to US $12 billion 560 million, of which the highest increase was gold reached US $1 billion 200 million, the increase by 480%, jewellery and jewellery exports increased by 221%, plastic plate exports increased by 55%, rubber products increased by 26.8%, electrical products increased by 22.9%, and textiles increased by 20.2%.
