Sun Ruizhe Analyzes The "Happiness" Of China'S Textile Industry

Hello everyone!
Thank you for participating in the launching ceremony of the China International fabric design competition. On behalf of the China Textile Industry Association, I congratulate the start of the competition. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Shaoxing County People's government and the China Light Textile City Management Committee.
The theme of the fabric design competition is "happiness", which is echoed with the state's advocacy of macroeconomic "inclusive growth" and concerns about people's well-being. It is also a subtle capture of individual happiness by designers using the creative language of fabric design.
Different people have different understanding and perception of happiness.
I believe that this theme will inspire the colorful inspiration of fabric designers, making this contest full of strong humanistic atmosphere and warm warmth, which is worthy of your common expectation.

Speaking of "happiness", we take this opportunity to share with you a few views to explore the "happiness Road" of fabric industry and fabric designers together.
First, what is the improvement of the "happiness index" of the fabric enterprises in the end?
I think the following are the main reasons:
(1) the creative design ability of the fabric enterprises can not match with the manufacturing capacity. The design and development of fabrics can not be "internal and external", and the manufacturing capability and quality level have been improved, but there is a lack of research, application and consumption guidance in the fashion trend.
(2) the protection of intellectual property rights of fabric design is not enough, especially the lack of system protection for pattern design, resulting in the lack of independent innovation kinetic energy, which directly restricts the input of fabric enterprises to creative research and development.
(3) it is based on the neglect of the creative design ability of fabrics, and the imperfect protection mechanism of creative design ability, which makes fabric designers become scarce resources relative to garment design talents.
If we make an alternative interpretation of the concept of "people-oriented", we will find that many fabric enterprises still regard fabric designers as "cost" in the sense of loss rather than "capital" that is enough to achieve value release.
The dislocation of this concept makes the design level of fabric fall into a vicious circle of inefficient circulation.
How can we make the fabric company's sense of happiness rising?
I believe that the following ideas must be established:
(1) the "system view" of fabric design.
The innovation of textile and garment industry is essentially an innovation of ecosystem.
In this ecosystem, fabric enterprises need to establish an efficient and pparent supply chain collaboration relationship with raw material suppliers, equipment suppliers and downstream garment brands.
We found that the fabric enterprises with high index of happiness not only have solid and reliable manufacturing capabilities, but also can actively penetrate into the stage of clothing design and development of downstream clothing brands.
This collaborative development mode effectively avoids the effect variation of fabric products in the garment market, and also increases the professional dependence of clothing brands on fabric enterprises.
This gives us the inspiration: fabric design should change the state of isolation and closure, and actively develop collaborative development with downstream garment brands, forming a systematic thinking of industrial chain integration innovation.
(2) "fusion view" of fabric design.
Judging from the winning works of the past fabric design competition, the concept of crossover and integration has become the inspiration direction of fabric design masterpiece.
Similarly, industrial development is also constantly expanding the boundary. We should jump off the industry to see the industry, conduct a solid local fashion trend study, use the perspective of art, leverage the new technology, and base on the market context, so that the fabric industry can develop more external high-quality resources and refresh the traditional industrial interface.
(3) the concept of responsibility in fabric design.
"Happiness" comes first from the sense of safety, and the sense of safety in the fabric industry must be expressed through the concepts of "quality", "environmental protection" and "green consumption".
In the future fabric design, creative talents who want more fabric design will devote more wisdom to the development and application of environment-friendly fabrics such as organic cotton and fiber recycling. I believe these new fabrics, which represent the future consumption direction, have a very broad market prospect. Designers with fabric creativity need to use the dual thinking of technology and fashion to create safer and more secure "happiness" for more consumers.
The pursuit of fashion discourse power by Chinese fabric brands and fabric designers is a process of "pain and happiness".
Happiness for the development of China's textile and garment industry is the ultimate goal of value and the most powerful engine of power; the birth of creativity is often accompanied by the feeling of happiness.
We need to know that "pain is at present, quick words", and enjoy the pain that can not be avoided, so that we can get happiness that we cannot and lack.
Finally, what I want to say is that enjoying the pain that is unavoidable and getting the happiness that is impossible or lacking is the value and happiness concept of the 12th Five-Year development of the Chinese textile industry. It is a driving force to overcome the rising cost of labor elements, to break the puzzle of international trade, to create an irreplaceable brand image, to achieve sustainable development and to meet domestic consumption.
