    Leather Co., Ltd. is the largest foreign capital company that Wenzhou has introduced so far. It has introduced more than 200 sets of the world's leading leather machinery and equipment, and built a leather production line with the world's advanced level.

    The company built the two phase of sewage treatment project in May 1998, and completed the acceptance in June 2001, so that the wastewater treatment capacity reached 5000 tons / day.

    The environmental system engineering invested by more than 3 million US dollars has cultivated and beautifed the garden greening and the rest landscape of the factory within 200 million square meters, so that the factory environment of Tai Qing Leather Co., Ltd. has become a civilized and landscaping industrial demonstration model.


    In 2008, Tai Qing leather passed the ISO14001 environmental management system certification and cleaner production inspection and acceptance. In 2008 and 2009, it passed the BLC environmental protection assessment and certification (silver medal) in the UK. In 2007~2009 years, 3 years passed the certification test of environmental protection for raw leather processing trade. In 2009, it was checked by the pilot enterprise of "enterprise environment supervisor" organized by the environmental protection department of Zhejiang Province, and was awarded the advanced unit of Wenzhou environmental protection administration and the national green environmental protection enterprise successively.

    There was no mandatory requirement for ammonia nitrogen treatment of tannery wastewater before 2006. However, considering the requirements of environmental management in the future, Tai Qing worked with the Zhejiang Academy of circular Sciences at the end of 2005 to develop ammonia nitrogen standard treatment process in tannery wastewater.

    After achieving the feasibility of the experimental results, the ammonia nitrogen standard pformation was carried out. After the commissioning of the project, the environmental monitoring center of Wenzhou city was sampled and monitored to meet the emission standards required by the environmental protection department.


    In the near future, Tai Qing will conduct research and development on the treatment of odorous gas generated by unorganized emissions from imported leather containers when they are unloading, and collect and process them effectively to reduce odor and unorganized emissions. The project is expected to start construction in the second half of this year.


    Initiative in environmental protection


    In 2009, Tai Qing used ABFT technology to treat ammonia nitrogen discharged from tannery wastewater. The construction and commissioning time lasted for 8 months.

    During the period, the actual treatment capacity of the wastewater treatment facilities is only half of the design capacity. In order to ensure the smooth construction and commissioning of the ABFT process, the company adjusts the order and production plan and reduces the annual capacity to ensure the progress of the project.


    In addition, Thailand also actively cooperate with the environmental regulatory authorities to take the initiative to accept supervision.

    In the past four years, the boiler has been tested by the environmental monitoring station of Longwan district every month. The emission index of pollutants such as waste water and exhaust gas is monitored every quarter by the Wenzhou environmental monitoring center station.

    In the implementation of the ammonia nitrogen upgrading project, the two phases of the project were monitored and monitored by the Wenzhou environmental monitoring center after commissioning.


    The cooperation with the monitoring department not only promoted the daily working standards of the laboratory inside the company, but also improved the daily work of environmental protection, and ensured the stable operation of the environmental protection system.

    In March 12, 2010, Tai Qing signed a contract with Dr. Hangzhou China Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. to develop the organic volatile gas (VOCS) produced by the refined spraying process.

    In April of the same year, the project was completed and put into operation, effectively reducing the emissions of 90% organic volatile gases and the two pollution during the treatment.

    In the long term insistence and efforts, Tai Qing leather has won the three prize in the second China leather industry environmental protection innovation award activity by "using ABFT technology to treat ammonia nitrogen in tannery wastewater and using adsorption and neutralization to effectively treat industrial production waste gas".


    In the process of ammonia nitrogen treatment of tannery wastewater, the immobilized technology of coenzyme and ionic valence bond is applied in the biological nitrogen removal process of ABFT biological nitrogen removal process. The technology breaks the traditional physical adsorption method and overcomes the shortcoming of microorganism loss. The microorganism is successfully immobilized on the biological carrier, which increases the load of microorganism, improves the removal rate of microorganism for various pollution indexes in the sewage, reduces the dosage of microorganism, and reduces the running cost.


    Waste gas treatment is mainly carried out around volatile organic compounds (VOCS) and ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.

    The production of VOCs is mainly in the process of leather spraying. 31% of VOC is toxic. Tai Qing adopts the method of dispersing and centralization, and uses the principles of spray absorption, inertia separation and gravitational sedimentation to collect exhaust gas without increasing the power.

    After the implementation of the project, particulate pollutants were reduced by 90%, VOCs reduced by 70%, and the odor concentration was greatly reduced.


    According to the respective chemical characteristics of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, the Twin Towers series process is adopted in Tai Qing, and the multi-layer packing is adopted in the absorption tower, and the two level spray is adopted.

    Ammonia is reduced by more than 95%, hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is reduced by more than 85%, and a small amount of sludge is produced at the same time.
