Carolina Herrera 2011 Early Autumn Series

"Who wants to wear bright clothes?" Today, she asked in an informal exhibition in the Carolina Herrera showroom. "I think color should be subtle." She passed through rows of pale grey, gray gray, sometimes with one or two poppy red and gold dresses, trousers, sweaters and shirts, and edited like an editor: "simple, simple, simple".

But simplicity does not mean insipid. This series shows that Herrera is in the best state of design. The Duchess's Satin accordion dress, silk transparent dresses and wool jacquard fabric are typical Carolina Herrera style: refined, reserved, relaxed and cute.
 

A meteor theme (inspired by a Herrera's own pin, designed by jewellery designer Luz Camino) and animal print patterns circulate throughout. Leopard prints are softened and abstracted in the designer's hand.
 

A box knitted jacket with removable fox collar and grey wool trousers is especially suitable for day wear. This is not to say that you must not wear after sunset. Herrera mentioned that she designed more Japanese clothes this time than ever before, and she said, "how many gorgeous dresses do you have?"
 

We didn't expect to hear this question from the designer's mouth, but don't worry, she still designed several beautiful evening dresses, a watercolor print dress inspired by pheasant feather, and the last appearance was so wonderful that it was interrupted by applause: black and gold Chantecaille lace gown, lustrous, this is a simplified version of the last holiday series of pearl gray and rouge evening dress.
