Indonesian Designers For Fashion Design For Lady Gaga

On the May American fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, the costumes worn by Lady Gaga were designed by Versace (Versace), Alexander McQueen (Alexander McQueen), Thierry Muller (Thierry Mugler), and a designer from Indonesia's "Saverio" (Tex Saverio).

Saverio, 26, lives with his parents in northern Jakarta, where he grew up.

His parents are Chinese.

At present, the designer's focus is on the customized design for the local high-end market. He often gets up at two o'clock in the morning to make up his customers' clothes.

His creative process is different from most designers, who usually draw sketches first and then strive to achieve them.

He said he thought the blueprint approach was too limited.

Instead, he prefers to follow his or her own thoughts and play with the models at random to see what designs or fabrics may match.

Only after deciding this point will he take up a pencil and sketch.

He said that a typical suit (starting at a price of 1500 dollars) would take two to three months to make, including trial and error stages and production stages.

Saverio said almost every client asked him to create a series of everyday clothes.
