Basic Knowledge Of Clothing And Fabrics -- What Is Viscose Fiber?
1. What is
viscose
?
Viscose fiber is the full name of viscose fiber.
It is also divided into viscose filament and viscose staple fiber, where we only focus on viscose filament.
Viscose, also known as rayon, ice, viscose filament.
In recent years,
viscose
A new high-grade variety called Tencel and bamboo fiber appeared.
Viscose is cellulose fiber produced from cotton or other natural fibers.
In the 12 main textile fibers, the moisture content of viscose is most consistent with the physiological requirements of human skin, and has the characteristics of smooth, cool, breathable, antistatic, dyed and flowery.
Viscose is one of the oldest fiber varieties.
In 1891, Cross, Bevan (Bevan) and Beadle (Beadle) first made cellulose sodium salt solution from cotton. Because the viscosity of the solution was very large, it was named "viscose".
When the viscose is acid, the cellulose will re precipitate.
According to this principle, in 1893, it developed into a method of making cellulose fibers, which are called viscose fibers.
By 1905, Miller and Muller invented a kind of coagulation bath consisting of dilute sulfuric acid and sulphate, and achieved the industrial production of viscose fiber.
Two, why do we say that sticky silk is superior to cotton for cotton?
Viscose has the essence of cotton, and the quality of silk is a genuine ecosystem.
fibre
It originates from nature and is superior to nature.
Viscose is made from cotton lint and other raw materials. The viscose fiber is more pure than cotton fiber.
The cellulose content of viscose is more than 99.5%, while cotton fiber is 95 - 97%; viscose fiber and waxy content account for 0.2 - 0.3%, cotton fiber accounts for 0.5 - 0.6%; viscose fiber contains no chlorine substances; the chlorine content in cotton fiber is 1 - 1.1%; viscose fiber does not contain pectin and shrink sugar, but cotton fiber contains 1.2%; the ash content of viscose fiber is a little, and the ash content of cotton fiber is 1.14%.
Viscose fiber is resistant to sunlight, insect resistance, heat resistance, chemical resistance, melts, mildew resistance, and its excellent performance is more comprehensive in the main textile fibers.
Three. Why is viscose most suitable for physiological needs of human skin with moisture content?
Viscose has the most moisturizing property that accords with human physiology.
Experts engaged in fiber analysis are written in the national science and technology core journal artificial fibers.
The skin's skin is smooth and elastic when it is 12 - 15%.
Once the skin is dry, it will become dry.
When the human skin is at 62% relative humidity, it feels the most comfortable.
The most comfortable relative humidity of human body is between 45 and 65%.
It is required that the textiles must have certain hygroscopicity and permeability. The moisture content of the skin surface 12 - 15% should be guaranteed by the moisture regain of the fiber 12 - 14%.
The standard moisture regain of the main textile fibers in China is: Cotton 7 - 8.5%, wool 14 - 16%, silk 9 - 11%, viscose fiber 12 - 14%, polypropylene fiber and
Polyvinyl chloride fiber
0, spandex 0.4 - 1.3%, polyester fiber 0.4 - 0.5%, ramie 7 - 10%, etc.
The moisture regain of viscose is most consistent with the requirement of moisture content of human skin. When it is hot, it can breathe and absorb sweat. When it is cold, it can moisturize, do not generate static electricity, is soft and comfortable, and is especially suitable for human skin physiology.
The main characteristic of viscose is that a large number of cellulose molecules containing a large number of hydrophilic groups [[hydroxyl] (OH)] can adsorb water molecules and hydration, and the crystallinity of viscose is determined by the low properties of other textile fibers.
They also made such a scientific conclusion that even cotton underwear is not as good as viscose underwear for human skin moisturizing requirements.
The wool fiber is slightly higher than the moisture content of the skin surface 12 - 15%, though it keeps warm, but it is easy to bring static electricity.
This characteristic of viscose keeps the human skin in the most moist state.
Now people are used to make underwear, pajamas, T-Shirts, shirts and so on.
Four, what harm will the static electricity do to people?
What is the antistatic property of viscose?
In winter, the air is too dry. It is easy to generate static electricity between human skin and clothing. The high instantaneous voltage can reach tens of thousands of volts, resulting in human discomfort.
Some people have investigated and measured the static electricity generated in daily life. Moving on the carpet can generate 1500~35000 volt static electricity. When walking on the vinyl ester floor, it can generate 250~12000 volt static electricity. When the indoor butt is rubbed on the chair, it will generate more than 1800 volts of static electricity.
The level of static electricity depends mainly on the humidity of the surrounding air.
Usually electrostatic interference exceeds 7000 volts, people will feel electric shock.
Relevant information indicates that static electricity has great harm to human body.
Prolonged static electricity can increase the alkalinity of the blood, reduce the calcium content in the serum and increase the excretion of calcium in the urine. This is no doubt that for the children who are growing and developing, the blood calcium level is very low, and the pregnant women and the lactating women who need a lot of calcium are undoubtedly worse.
Too much static electricity is accumulated in the human body. It also causes abnormal conduction of the brain nerve cell membrane, affecting the central nervous system, resulting in the change of blood pH and oxygen characteristics, affecting the physiological balance of the body, causing dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia, loss of appetite, trance and other symptoms.
Static electricity also interferes with the circulation, immunity and nervous system of the human body, and affects the normal work of organs (especially the heart), which may cause heart rate abnormalities and premature cardiac contractions.
In winter, about 1/3 of cardiovascular diseases are related to static electricity.
In flammable and explosive areas, the body carries static electricity and causes fires.
Recently, Japan's general production department
Dress material
The damage to the skin has increased to a safety level. The field survey concluded that 600 of the 1500 people had clothing and damaged skin.
Nylon, polyester, polypropylene clear fiber and acetate fiber made of chemical fiber underwear, there is a prominent problem causing skin inflammation.
They tracked and observed the patients with premature cardiac contractions, and found that some patients had no organic heart disease, and no cause of arrhythmia due to smoking, alcoholism and medication.
What they have in common is clothing made of synthetic fiber.
The friction between synthetic clothing and skin causes static electricity. The voltage of static electricity exceeds 4000 volts in a moment. Static electricity changes the potential difference of body surface and prevents normal conduction of electrocardiogram.
Ventricular arrhythmias were induced.
When these people are recommended to wear cotton or silk underwear, arrhythmia miraculously vanishes.
It is concluded that wearing synthetic fiber clothing can induce arrhythmia conclusion, which is not alarmist.
This shows that to eliminate static electricity, the most important thing is not to wear synthetic underwear, nor to make synthetic fiber fabrics contact with skin.
From the point of view of fiber resistance, cotton, rayon and linen should be worn.
However, it is possible to wear underwear in summer and wear it in summer.
Therefore, cotton is more commonly worn, but the moisture content of cotton fiber is far less than that of viscose fiber. Viscose fiber is also better than cotton fiber. Therefore, according to the moisture and soft comfort of human skin and the resistance value of fiber, the scientific and healthy consumption concept is to choose viscose fiber and make underwear with viscose fiber fabric.
Five. Why is viscose very slippery?
Clothing
Feeling?
Viscose is a cellulose fiber purified from cotton and other natural fibers and continuously extracted from cellulose fibers. The production process of viscose determines that it has longer characteristics than other fibers such as cotton. The viscose fiber has excellent moisture content, strong antistatic property and no attachment to the body, so it is very slippery, which is incomparable to other fibers.
