Chengdu Textile College is a full-time regular college run by the Sichuan provincial government, the only independent Textile College in Southwest China, the construction unit of the national backbone vocational colleges and the first batch of Demonstrative Higher Vocational Colleges in Sichuan, and is directly under the Sichuan Provincial Education Department, formerly known as the National Central Technical College, founded in 1939. The clothing specialty of our university was established in 1995. It first belonged to the Department of textiles, established the Department of clothing in 1998, established the Department of clothing and arts and crafts in 2000, and established the Department of clothing art and Engineering in 2009.
