Panyu Polytechnic Institute, Guangzhou (formerly known as Panyu Polytechnic Institute and Panyu Polytechnic Institute)
In 1993, the Ministry of Education formally approved the establishment of the Ministry of education in 1993. It is the first batch of public full-time vocational colleges in Guangzhou.
In 2003, it was designated by the Guangzhou municipal government as the leading college of Higher Vocational Education in the city.
In April 2005, we evaluated the talent training level of the Ministry of education with "excellent" results.
In December 2009, it became the first National Demonstration Vocational College of the Ministry of education and the Ministry of finance.

The school is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou, which is located in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta. It covers an area of 2061 mu. The school building has an area of 288 thousand and 300 square meters. The total value of teaching equipment is over 110 million yuan. The library area is 29 thousand square meters. There are 908 thousand and 200 books, 908 thousand and 200 electronic books, 1183 professional periodicals, 8480 electronic professional periodicals, and 29 school training bases and 347 training bases outside the campus. The school is based on Higher Vocational and technical education. It has six departments and two departments, including information engineering college, Jewelry Institute, art and Design Institute, business administration department, finance and Economics Department, tourism management department, applied foreign language department, mechanical and electronic department, architectural engineering department, Ministry of thought and education, basic course department, etc., and sets up 43 specialties that are closely related to the industrial structure and social development needs of the Pearl River Delta region.
At present, the school has 6 national exemplary specialties, namely, toy design and manufacture, computer network technology, financial management and practice, decoration art design, hotel management, jewellery technology and identification, etc. 2 national education reform pilot programs, 9 provincial demonstrative specialties and 6 municipal demonstrative specialties; 15 state-level quality courses, 25 provincial quality courses and 40 top-level quality courses.

The school openly recruits excellent teachers for the whole country, and has a team of highly qualified teachers with reasonable structure and high level.
Among the full-time teachers, 28.61% were senior professional titles, and more than 58% of the young teachers had doctorate and master's degrees. Most of the full-time teachers had "double qualification" and related professional qualification certificates.
There are 2 state-level teaching teams in the school, including 2 experts from the State Council special allowance, 1 teachers from national universities and 5 teachers from universities in Guangdong.
In recent years, school teachers have edited and published 273 teaching materials and 20 teaching materials have become the national planning textbook of "11th Five-Year" for general higher education.

Since the first employment rate of university graduates was announced in Guangdong in 2001, the employment rate of school graduates has always been the highest in the province's universities. In 2004, 2005 and 2008, it has ranked first in all the tertiary institutions in the province.
Before the May 1 Labor Day in 2010, Huang Dezhi, the 2001 graduate of mould design and manufacturing, won the high honor of "national labor model". He was highly praised by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council in the Great Hall of the people of Beijing.
