Ningbo Hongyi Clothing School

Ningbo Hongyi clothing school was founded in 1986. It is a specialized school of clothing, which integrates college, technical secondary school, vocational high school and technical training. The school is a member of the China Textile and Garment Education Association, a governing body, a member of Shanghai Garment Association, and a member unit of Ningbo garment Education Committee.

94 years included in one of the four characteristic vocational schools in Ningbo. In 2002, the professional teachers' technical title examination and training unit (designated by the Municipal Education Commission) of the city's clothing polytechnic school was selected as an advanced school unit (the first city in Ningbo) by the Zhejiang provincial labor department in 2003. It was rated as the national advanced unit of the labor department in 2004. In November 2005, the chairman of the school of Dong Zhu Qin and President Mao Hongxin attended the second Italy China (Tianjin) glag Luz Award for men's sewing design competition, which won two and three prizes respectively, and won the title of Chinese craft master.

In 2006, President Mao Hongxin was awarded the "red candle" award, and the first training course for clothing enterprises technicians was held in 2007.

In the past twenty years, nearly 10000 clothing primary school talents have been trained for the garment industry in Ningbo.

At present, there are more than 30 professional teachers, 95% of which have clothing technicians and senior titles. Teachers graduated from professional schools, and have served as designers, planner and craftsmen in well-known garment enterprises both at home and abroad. They have rich practice and teaching experience. The school is appointed by Professor Wang Ming Ming, a founder of the clothing department of Donghua University in Shanghai, and is the honorary president of Mao Dalong, President of Ningbo clothing college. Chen Zhikang, a master of domestic costume technology, is a technical consultant for the party and state leaders.

The school teaches the fifth generation of Chinese red band successors, Mr. Xie Zhaofu, the senior technician of the Shanghai clothing special technician, and adopts the international advanced plane prototype three-dimensional combination of structural design skills, imparting a series of professional skills such as the design, the board, the craft and so on in the modern clothing enterprise application. It is in line with the international popularity. The school is in cooperation with the China Textile Federation. The high technology and high fashion CAD system is applied to teaching. In order to achieve the modernization of teaching, the school project invested 5 million yuan to build 2800 square teaching building.

The school has all the clothing equipment used for teaching: 200 high speed electric vehicles, large garment binding machine, automatic steam ironing stand, eyelet machine, automatic sharpening electric scissors, special needles for knitting factories, multi-functional board tables and so on. There are special clothing CAD rooms, design rooms, studios, sample rooms, board rooms, student showrooms, practice workshops, clothing design centers, etc., and set up clothing stores in Tianyi Square, the largest commercial block in Ningbo, providing a practical base for students to play their talents.

In 2002, according to the provincial Civil Affairs Department's investigation, Hongyi clothing school is the largest, prestige, strong faculty and advanced facility in the similar schools of clothing education industry in the province. It has been appraised as an advanced unit in the past years. After graduation, students entered into the large garment enterprises such as Shenzhou, Shanshan and YOUNGOR.
