Quanzhou Textile And Garment Vocational Education Group Set Up The Concept Of Large Vocational Education

In July 8th, Quanzhou textile and garment vocational education group was established.

Prior to that, the city has set up three vocational education groups, namely, construction, trade and information, which has effectively promoted the development of school enterprise cooperation and vocational education.

Textile and clothing industry is an important pillar industry of the city's economic development. Its annual output value accounts for about 2/3 of the textile and garment industry in Fujian Province, accounting for about 1/10 of the whole country. It has formed a complete textile and apparel industry chain with many brands and closely related to the market. The demand for all kinds of high-quality skilled textile and garment talents has increased dramatically.

After the establishment of the Quanzhou textile and clothing vocational education group, which is led by Quanzhou Textile Garment Institute and combined with 14 vocational colleges and 31 enterprises, it will establish the concept of large vocational education, strengthen the diversified cooperation among vocational colleges, enterprises, scientific research units and trade associations, and promote vocational colleges to rely on the professional office of industry, promote the professional promotion of industries, improve the quality and efficiency of vocational education; through the effective operation of the vocational education group, promote the docking of schools and enterprises in logistics management, student employment, teaching research, scientific research, curriculum development, professional development and training bases, so as to train skilled professionals for Quanzhou's textile and garment industry cluster.
