For Quanzhou Footwear And Other Industries Landing Beijing Help
Nowadays, the fashion industry in Beijing is developing at a high speed, and domestic modern business groups are rushing to the beach.
In the North army, there are such a group of Quanzhou people: they are engaged in traditional cloth, clothing, footwear, plumbing, building materials and other industries. Wang Zongpei, President of Beijing Fujian textile and apparel trade association, is one of them.
While gaining the leading position in the industry, he has made a positive effort for the Quanzhou brand to land in Beijing, thereby affecting the international market through the market platform and the resources of other textile and apparel enterprises through the platform of the chamber of Commerce.
Since the early 80s of last century, the entrepreneurs of Fujian Province began to venture in Beijing. So far, they have formed a sizeable scale and become an important part of Fujian's connection with the "outer provincial economic circle".
On the one hand, Fujian enterprises in Beijing brought capital, technology, information, commodities and purchasing power to Beijing market. On the other hand, Beijing also began to have an important impact on product development, brand promotion and brand operation of China's textile and garment industry.
At the twelfth Beijing International Fashion Fair in 2004, 27 brands of Quanzhou enterprises, including Qipai, Li Lang and Chun Mu Wang, laid down more than 2000 square meters of booths.
This phenomenon fully shows that Fujian style clothing is emerging rapidly as a regional brand.
But Wang Zongpei saw the other side of the phenomenon.
He said, we have to admit that although many well-known brands have appeared in Southern Fujian, the vast majority of Minnan enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, are still of the production and processing type, and lack of brand awareness.
Under this background, in July 22nd last year, the Beijing Fujian textile and apparel chamber of Commerce came into being, attracting more than 100 member enterprises, involving textile, printing and dyeing, textile home textiles, clothing and accessories, garment accessories, printing and dyeing equipment, tailoring equipment and many other industries.
Wang Zongpei believes that in the current textile and garment industry, the low cost strategy has gradually lost its comparative advantage. Meanwhile, the lack of branding strategy has become a bottleneck restricting the upgrading of SMEs in Quanzhou.
The chamber of Commerce set up a service platform, which is to boost Fujian textile and apparel brands from all angles to land in Beijing, to gain more competitive advantages and realize the dream of Fujian textile and garment industry to occupy a wider market share at home and abroad.
He has his own view that he should be good at capturing market segments.
In his view, China's clothing material is an industry with broad prospects for development.
He said that in terms of clothing materials, only the "jacket city" accounted for 41% of China's sales in Jinjiang, accounting for 12% of the world's total.
The "Min faction" clothing sector has gathered more than 10000 textile and garment production and operation enterprises.
In 2005, the output value of Quanzhou's textile and clothing exceeded 60 billion yuan, of which the output value of Jinjiang's textile and garment industry amounted to 19 billion 200 million yuan.
He has his shop in Beijing Fang Shi International Textile City, world textile market and North World Trade mall.
In the field of garment accessories, his customers have spread all over the country, including Bosideng, seven wolves, Fang Shi, Wei Ming, Ziya, green guest and other famous brands.
In addition to Wen Xing group Beijing company, he is also responsible for the management of Zhongxing textile and apparel company. The products are mainly PU leather, wet process, dry process, hardware accessories and leather.
His Wen Xing group has become the leader of the fabric industry.
For the development of his hometown, he tried to develop his career, and he often organized members to take part in business investigation activities.
Since last July, Beijing Fujian textile and apparel chamber of Commerce has gone to Changchun, Fujian, Tianjin, Hebei and other places to explore business opportunities.
At the end of the year, the chamber organized more than 200 field visits to the "Beijing Tianjin International Light Textile City" in Baodi District of Tianjin, and signed a friendly and cooperative investment agreement with Beijing Fang Shi international textile city and Beijing Tianjin International Textile City. Only Beijing's Fang Shi international textile city has saved about 8 million yuan a year for its members.
He said frankly, "many entrepreneurs outside Quanzhou want to know the situation of their hometown, and see what opportunities they have in their hometown, and what good investment projects they have.
The chamber of commerce can greatly strengthen our ties with our hometown and build a bridge to communicate with our hometown government and industry and commerce. "
With the great business opportunity of Beijing Olympic Games approaching, Beijing's influence on China's textile and garment industry's product research and development, brand promotion and brand operation has become increasingly important. It has become an important platform for China's textile and clothing display, promotion and internationalization.
"I believe that in the coming days, the chamber of Commerce will be better able to provide a better platform for the development of businessmen in Fujian and make some efforts for the development of the home economy."
