Vietnam Has The First Local Polyester Fiber Plant.

The Dinh Vu polyester fiber plant funded by petroleum and petrochemical and textile fiber shares (PVTEX) has produced the first batch of home-made polyester synthetic fibers (PSF) in Vietnam.
This marks a strategic leap in Vietnam, and the content of domestic fibers in Vietnamese textiles will increase.
This factory is located in the northern port of Haiphong city.

It covers an area of 15 hectares.
Production capacity of 175000 tons, the factory is expected to steadily meet the domestic textile industry polyester staple fiber demand of about 40%.
In the process, Vietnam will reduce the import of polyester staple fibers, saving about $400 million a year.
In addition, the factory will also promote the growth of the domestic PSF industry and create about 700 regular jobs.
Annual sales exceed 6 trillion dong dong.
At the same time, PVTEX has started investing about 140 billion Dong Dong in Ting Wu.
