The Textile Industry Association Statistics Center has jointly issued the seventh issue of China textile enterprise operators tracking survey report, and summed up the mainstream voice of China's textile enterprise operators.
The survey shows that in the first half of 2011, the domestic textile enterprises basically operated smoothly, the profits grew rapidly, the production conditions were good, the investment and the number of workers continued to grow, but the labor cost remained high, labor resources shortage intensified, raw materials and fuel power costs continued to rise, international market demand was not strong, production and orders were not as good as in 2010, and the pressure on production and operation of enterprises increased, especially in the cotton textile industry and small and medium-sized enterprises.
Production revenue growth of 58.6% stable
From the perspective of the main business revenue, more than half (58.6%) of the enterprises increased than in 2010, of which 77.7% of the large enterprises increased their income, while only 39.3% of the small businesses increased. This indicates that the large enterprises are running better than the small and medium-sized enterprises.
From the perspective of registered capital type, the income of foreign holding enterprises is increased, flat and reduced, and the proportion of increase is obviously lower than that of other capital types.
From the perspective of subdivision industry, the growth of chemical fiber and textile machinery industry is the highest.

The proportion of industrial enterprises is relatively low.
For the second half of the year, the proportion of the expected growth of the main business income of the enterprises reached 60.7%, which indicates that the managers of the enterprises have certain confidence in the operation of the second half of the year.
Nearly 7 of large enterprises are expected to grow in the second half.
According to the industry, only 37.5% of the enterprises in the cotton textile industry believe that the growth of the next period's income indicates that most of the managers of the cotton textile enterprises are not sure about the operation of the second half of the year. The cotton prices continue to fall rapidly in recent months, and the impact on the industry is still very large.

This year, the growth rate of industry investment has declined, and the demand for textile machinery products has declined due to the negative growth of new projects.
An increase in orders for enterprises with 49.9% demand
The survey shows that nearly half of the enterprises (49.9%) have increased orders compared with 2010, of which the ordering quantity of large enterprises is better than that of 2010, with an increase of 56.4% compared with that in 2010.
The proportion of order volume increased by 80% and 60% respectively.
Cotton textile enterprises accounted for only 22.9% of the order growth, and 52.1% of the order volume decreased.
This shows that the cotton textile market has a low degree of prosperity, and there are problems in sales.
From the first half of the year, the demand for foreign enterprises accounted for only 36.3% of the total demand for the sample enterprises, reflecting the sluggish demand in the international market and the fiercer competition environment.
50% of foreign owned enterprises and 62.2% of cotton textile enterprises reduced foreign orders.
On the contrary, 60% of textile enterprises and 58% of industrial textiles were manufactured in the sample enterprises.

From the point of view of customs statistics, exports of these industries also showed a relatively fast growth trend.
For the second half of the expected demand for orders, 54.9% of the enterprises thought it would increase compared with the first half of the year, 77.8% of the foreign holding enterprises and 62.1% of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan holding enterprises expect to increase the volume of orders in the second half of the year.
69.7% of the textile enterprises and 69% of the printing and dyeing enterprises expect growth in the second half of the order.
However, business operators are more cautious about the demand for international market. Only 42.3% of enterprises think that the demand for foreign orders will increase compared with the first half of the year.
Only the foreign holding enterprises are more optimistic, 75% think the second half of the international order growth.
In terms of industries, the proportion of printing and dyeing enterprises, silk enterprises and industrial enterprises is expected to increase by 64%, 60% and 58.1% respectively.
Increase in the price of enterprise products selling up 59%
Due to the impact of price factors such as raw material prices and labor prices, most enterprises adopt the promotion of product prices to relieve cost pressures.
The average price of the main products of 59% of the sample enterprises increased compared with that of 2010, while the larger and medium-sized enterprises increased the price by 67% and 60.5% respectively.
The sales price of most industry enterprises is rising, except for the cotton textile enterprises. The proportion of the enterprises whose sales price drops is 53.3%.
However, the stock market has increased slightly due to the market demand and the linkage between the upstream and downstream industries.
38.2% of enterprise inventories increased compared with 2010.
In particular, small businesses increased inventories more significantly than 51.2%.
62.5% of the surveyed cotton textile enterprises increased inventories.
Inventory growth and sales price decline indicate that the marketing problems of cotton textile enterprises in the first half of the year are outstanding.

Profits increase slightly by 42.8%
From the total profit situation, 42.8% of the enterprises have increased profits in the current period compared with the same period last year, and the profit growth of large and medium-sized enterprises is better than that of small enterprises.
59.1% of large enterprises increased profits during the current period compared with the same period last year, while only 21.3% of small businesses increased profits during the current period.
41.3% of the enterprises achieved a decrease in profits during the current period compared with the same period last year.
Small business profits have fallen even more. Nearly half (48.8%) of small businesses have lost profits in the current period compared with the same period last year.
From the level of corporate sales profit margin, 45% of the enterprises' sales profit margins have declined, of which printing and dyeing industry and cotton textile industry accounted for 60% and 59.6% of the sales profit margins respectively.
The normal utilization rate is 58.6%, and the utilization rate of equipment is above 80%.
58.6% of the sample enterprises have more than 80% utilization of equipment, and the utilization ratio of equipment in large and medium-sized enterprises is higher than that of small enterprises. The proportion of large enterprises with equipment utilization rate of more than 80% is 78.5%, while that of small enterprises is only 31.3%.
Cost of raw materials increased by 79.2%.
79.2% of the sample enterprises have increased their purchasing prices of raw materials and energy during the current period, and nearly 60% (58.3%) of the enterprises believe that the purchasing prices of major raw materials and energy will continue to rise in the second half of 2010.
Cotton textile enterprises exceptions, 45.8% of enterprises believe that the second half of the raw material and energy prices decline, which is mainly affected by the current decline in cotton prices.
According to the calculation data of raw materials purchased by the sample enterprises, the purchase price of most kinds of raw materials is more than 20% higher than that of the same period last year.
With regard to the overall situation of production and operation of the enterprise, 54.9% of the enterprises thought it was good, and only 9% chose poorly.
Small and medium-sized enterprises choose a good proportion lower than large enterprises, indicating that the operation of small and medium-sized enterprises is not as big as that of large enterprises.
The proportion of cotton textile enterprises to choose a good proportion is obviously lower than that of other industries.
