According to the statistics of Wenzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Wenzhou footwear products exported more than 5 million batches in the first three quarters of 2007, an increase of 11.7% over the same period last year, an increase of 9.9%, an increase of 18.4%, an average price of 4.34 US dollars / pairs, and an increase of 7.7% over the same period last year.

Wenzhou exports footwear mainly to medium and low grade shoes, of which the export volume of synthetic leather shoes, rubber shoes and injection shoes rank the top 3.

Among them, the EU is still the largest market for footwear exports in Wenzhou, accounting for about 40% of the volume, quantity and value of goods.

According to the analysis, footwear exports in Wenzhou have maintained rapid growth. The main competitiveness lies in the fashionable products, excellent quality and low price. Secondly, the industrial clusters and the upstream and downstream industries are well matched.

In addition, a large number of overseas Chinese businessmen in Wenzhou are also a major buyer of footwear products in Wenzhou.

At the same time, international buyers such as DEICHMANN and WALMART have shifted their focus to Wenzhou, which has directly promoted the substantial growth of Wenzhou's footwear exports.
