The extensive export growth mode of the hemp textile industry has been difficult to continue and needs to be changed to intensive mode. This is also the inevitable requirement for the pformation and sustainable development of enterprises in the market economy.

Trade associations call on enterprises to achieve strategic pformation. We must vigorously expand the domestic demand market and improve the market share of linen textiles and linen garments.

Taking into account the realities of China's linen textile enterprises, enterprises and industry associations agree that expanding domestic demand is not to narrow exports, but to consolidate and strengthen exports while expanding domestic demand market share, making full use of two domestic and foreign markets and two kinds of resources, extending from the production and processing links to product development, design, brand promotion and other high value-added links.

China's Linen Textile Association has made clear in the 12th Five-Year development plan outline that the proportion of domestic demand and external demand should be adjusted to 50% each year by 2015, and the average domestic demand ratio will increase by 5% every year. This increase is related to the victory and defeat of China's Hemp textile industry.

This shows that the expansion of domestic demand has become a major measure for the pformation of the development mode of the textile enterprises. It is urgent to expand domestic demand, and the strategy of expanding domestic demand also means a major development opportunity for the textile enterprises.

According to the implementation measures of China's domestic market for hemp and textile products, special emphasis is placed on the following five combinations: the combination of the positioning and extension of the high-end products in the domestic market (linen textiles, fabrics, products, clothing, etc.); the demand for products, specifications and quantity in the domestic demand market; the combination of creating brand value and improving technical efficiency; the combination of domestic demand market, large and medium cities, boutique exhibition shops, wholesale centers, retail facades, commercial networks and fashion culture and advertising advertisements of linen textile products; the integration of upstream and downstream textile industry (knitting, clothing, home textiles, etc.) with the cooperation of construction, hydropower, national defense and other industries; and the combination of professional and technical personnel in the domestic demand market with the long-term development and operation planning of the industry. Therefore, experts point out that the recovery and development of domestic flax planting and processing industry is a necessary condition for maintaining and stabilizing China's linen textile industry, as well as a necessary condition for the development of China's linen textiles export and domestic demand market.

Xu Jixiang, President of China's Linen Textile Association, recently said that in recent years, the planting area of linen textile raw materials has shrunk dramatically. The quality of linen raw materials and jute raw materials are mainly imported from abroad and controlled by others. This is an indisputable fact and is also an obstacle to the development of the industry.

In China, the cultivation of raw materials is restricted by many factors, and the development is uneven. Xu Jixiang emphasized that the development of China's Hemp textile industry is the key to the development of the Chinese hemp textile industry. The State concerned should pay attention to expanding the area of China's high-quality rain dew linen and increasing its yield per unit area. We must organize, plan and step by step the construction of the 13 existing agricultural industrialization high quality hemp textile raw material bases.

Not long ago, Xu Jixiang went to Zhaotong, Yunnan to inspect the high quality rain and dew linen base.

The local farmers grow high quality rain and dew flax at 30 thousand meters above the 2500 meters high altitude. The hemp height is about 1.3 meters, and the yield per unit area is 300 kg or more, which can spin 24 sub yarns.

It is said that next year they plan to grow 100 thousand mu.

China's Linen Textile Association is going to hold a spot meeting in July 2012, and the head of linen textile enterprises across the country will be invited to inspect and identify the site.

Xu Jixiang believes that as long as the quality and yield of Chinese flax and ramie are increased, the price of flax raw materials will be reduced in Europe, so that even if China's farmers are benefiting, they can also reduce the cost of raw materials for Chinese flax manufacturing enterprises.

It is reported that in order to develop linen textiles and expand the domestic demand and the base construction of raw materials, the Chinese textile industry association is raising a foundation -- China and Europe jointly develop the Chinese linen products market fund.
