New York Times Praises Raffles's New Teaching Mode To Break The Collision Between Chinese Culture And Western Culture
One of the most influential authoritative media in the world, The New York Times, which published a special report focusing on the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, "collision between Chinese and Western cultures, and transnational corporations' time to run in response", interviewed Donghua University foreign language teacher Tamara Brodinsky of Donghua University and Raffles school. In class, teacher Tamara encourages students to break the fear of teachers and their inherent authority. She will often move chairs to students next to students in class, so as to shorten the distance from students. Therefore, the class will be divided into group discussions in advance to avoid embarrassment for students.
