This standard does not apply to leather and fur products used for industrial and special industries, nor is it for export products. The export products should be in accordance with the stipulations of the export contract and the importing country.

Leather and fur products here refer to finished leather and finished fur made from tanned leather or fur.

According to the use of leather and fur and human health needs, the standard can be divided into three grades: harmful substances, harmful aromatic amine dyes and free formaldehyde limits: Category A, infant products; class B, products that are directly exposed to skin; class C, products that are not directly exposed to skin.
