Shijiazhuang Leather Project Is Supported By National Innovation Fund.

The results of the examination and approval of the technology innovation fund of the national science and technology small and medium enterprises in 2007 were announced. Among them, 4 projects in Shijiazhuang were supported by the national innovation fund, mainly in the pharmaceutical, leather and electronic industries, where the technological innovation advantages were obvious and the enterprises had great potential for development. For example, the development and new technology of avermectin B component strain, undertaken by Hebei Yu Ze Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., through the modification of the existing abamectin producing strain by genetic engineering method, regulating the direction of biosynthesis, effectively solved the problem of Avermectin Fermentation yield and low extraction yield, which can increase the overall economic efficiency of the production by more than 20% and reduce the sewage discharge by more than 30%.

Abamectin, as a new kind of biological veterinary drug and biological pesticide, has the outstanding characteristics of broad insecticidal spectrum, unique insecticidal mechanism, easy degradation, no pollution, no pollution and so on. It has broad prospects in the market of pesticides and veterinary drugs.

The project of "modern Chinese medicine R & D technology service platform construction" undertaken by Hebei Yiling Pharmaceutical Research Institute Co., Ltd. and the project of R & D and extension service platform for leather industry common technology undertaken by Xinji leather Productivity Promotion Center will also effectively enhance the R & D and technological innovation ability of modern Chinese Medicine industry and leather industry in our city, so as to drive the rapid development of SMEs in related industries.
