Department Of Human Resources: Building A Network Platform To Achieve Social Security Card Nationwide

The press office of the State Council held a press conference on August 30, 2011 (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. in the press release Hall of the Information Office of the State Council. Hu Xiaoyi, deputy director of the Ministry of human resources and social security, and Li Dongrong, assistant governor of the people's Bank of China, introduced the People's Republic of China society.

The social security card was designed for the whole country at the beginning of the design. Therefore, as I mentioned earlier, there are more than 170 cities in the country that have approved the issuing of cards. There are 360, more than 370 cities and corresponding units in the whole country. Why are these 170 approved first? That is, we have allowed the issuance of cards in these areas since we have achieved the national standard.

Only cards that can be used in the area do not conform to the national general standards. We must strictly enforce the uniform standards, which will be universal throughout the country.

Of course, the standard unification of this card is only one aspect. Actually, the larger aspect is supporting the construction of the backstage network system for this card.

Now we are building an interconnected network platform covering the whole country, and we have built a cross regional exchange interface.
