Recently, the white paper of China photoelectric industry map released by Sai Di consultant, a research institution directly under the Ministry of industry and information technology development and Research Institute, shows that China optoelectronics industry, represented by flat panel display and LED industry, has initially formed a general industrial spatial pattern with the four major regions of the Bohai rim, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, the central and western regions, and so on. In the future, the evolution of China's optoelectronic industry will show the trend of "shifting from coastal to inland".

Forming the four largest

The Yangtze River Delta region has the largest LCD module industrial base in the country, distributed in Suzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing and other places. In addition, it also has many production lines of high generation LCD panels, such as Tianma, Longteng optoelectronics, China Electric panda and Samsung.

In order to build a complete photoelectric industry chain, as one of the regions with the largest LCD module industrial base in China, the Jiangsu provincial government has introduced a series of preferential policies to attract upstream and downstream manufacturers to enter. With the implementation of the core projects of a large number of photoelectric industry and the stationing of photoelectric dragon head enterprises, Jiangsu will form a large scale optoelectronic industrial cluster.

Driven by policy encouragement and supply chain integration, Jiangsu has formed an optoelectronic industrial gathering area with annual output value of hundreds of billions from glass substrate manufacturing to control circuit, backlight module, display module processing and whole machine production, and accessories manufacturing.

In the Pearl River Delta region of southeastern Guangdong Province, Guangdong province has actively arranged the upstream industry chain of the optoelectronics industry, and has further enhanced its industrial competitiveness by virtue of its advantages in the downstream electronics manufacturing industry.

At present, Guangdong has initially formed LCD and OLED industrial bases mainly based on cities such as Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen, Shanwei and Dongguan, with LED industry bases mainly in Dongguan, Shenzhen, Huizhou, Jiangmen and other cities.

Especially in the field of LED, the Pearl River Delta is the largest LED packaging base in the country. At present, Guangdong's LED packaging accounts for about 70% of the country's total, accounting for 50% of the world's total.

Shenzhen is the largest LED packaging and application production gathering area in China.

From the perspective of enterprise agglomeration, Shenzhen LED enterprises have formed a relatively complete industrial chain in the upstream, including the upstream substrate materials, epitaxial films, middle reaches chips, packaging, downstream applications and supporting materials, processing and testing equipment, and formed certain industrial agglomeration in the middle and lower reaches of the industrial chain.

Some cities with relatively developed economy and better industrial supporting environment will be the first to undertake the pfer of the optoelectronic industry. With the continuous enhancement of the radiation power of these cities to the surrounding industries, the industrial supporting environment of the region will be optimized continuously, which will further promote the layout of the optoelectronic industry in the mainland.

Third, the will of local governments will become one of the driving forces of industrial convergence.

For the development of China's photoelectric industry, the local government has played a huge role in policies, funds and land. It is precisely because of the strong will of the local government to develop the photoelectric industry that it promotes the industrial agglomeration to a certain extent.

The government's role in promoting the development of optoelectronics industry is determined by the characteristics of high technology and high investment in the photoelectric industry, especially in the early stage of the development of the industry, and the role of the government is more obvious.

Therefore, this characteristic also determines the spatial evolution of the photoelectric industry to a certain extent.

Fourth, the development of industries in different regions will gradually show some differences.

In the process of industrial agglomeration, the industries between different regions will gradually be differentiated, and the emphasis of industrial development in different regions will be focused.

As the state attaches importance to the overall planning of the industry, the layout of the future photoelectric industry will be more scientific, standardized and reasonable.
