They held a press conference at headquarters in Beijing to further complement the previously proposed environmentally friendly emission commitments: they made greater efforts on the basis of the original commitment, and finally eliminated chemical substances affecting the environment in the supply chain in 2019 to achieve environmentally friendly emissions. NP and NPE were included in the chemical control list to urge suppliers to strictly abide by this requirement. In the next 4 months, more than 200 suppliers, industry authorities and NGO organizations were closely communicated to discuss the specific implementation measures for achieving the goal of good environmental emissions in 2019 and released to the public in the social responsibility report at the end of 2011.

At the meeting, on the question of "what exactly is Lining's product safety?" the reporter put forward, Zhang Xiaoyan, director of the Li Ning Co and the director of external public affairs, said that all products designed and produced by Lining are safe, reliable and fully in line with the relevant standards of the state and the European Union.

In 2005, the EU promulgated the "REACH code". In Appendix 17, it was explicitly stated that the chemical substances added to the textile products produced in the EU market should not exceed 1000 mg / kg of NPE additives.

All of Lining's products are tested by the third party international testing agency. They are safe and non-toxic. They can be sold in any EU country and consumers can be used safely.

Zhang Xiaoyan also said that, as a substance widely used by most brands and countries, how to control the harm of NPE in the controllable range and maximize the protection of the environment is a global issue, which needs multi-level cooperation.

For a long time, many textile and garment enterprises including Lining have been working hard to solve this problem. Although certain achievements have been achieved, it still takes a certain time to achieve the final victory and the complete elimination of NPE.
