The Trademark Office will prepare the application number when the application procedure is complete, and send the application form to the International Bureau within 30 days.

If the application procedures for international registration of trademarks are complete, it takes about 3 to 4 months, and the International Bureau may issue a trademark registration certificate.

From the date of the international registration day, if no notification of rejection of trademark protection was received within the 12 months from the agreement state or within 18 months, it means that the trademark has been automatically protected in the agreement country or the agreed country. For those countries with very long actual inspection period, such a provision greatly reduces the waiting time for the applicant to get the trademark registration protection of the country.

It is understood that as of the end of August this year, only 42 enterprises in the city have applied for the international registration of Madrid trademark, with a total number of 51 registrations.

This is a very inconsistent proportion with the total number of more than 7000 private enterprises and more than 17000 trademarks in our city.

Li Jinpai said that enterprises with their own brands should pay close attention to registration as well as do "bridal clothes" for others.
