The 10th anniversary celebration of the Hongkong nonwovens Association and the six Council and new materials

Hongkong nonwovens Association, founded in 2001 by Yu Min, chairman of Jindi Nonwovens Technology Co., has gone through ten years.

The association is rooted in the development of the non-woven industry in Hongkong. It has witnessed the growth of Hongkong's non-woven industry from scratch and from small to large.

Yu Min told reporters on the phone that more than ten years ago, there were also some non-woven manufacturers in Hongkong. At present, most factories moved to the mainland and integrated into the Chinese nonwoven industry.

From the domestic point of view, spunbonded technology has 40 production lines ten years ago, up to now more than 400, and the production line has increased by 10 times.

It can be said that the non-woven industry is the fastest growing industry with the highest growth rate.

The technology of the non-woven industry is not only in China, but also has developed rapidly in Europe, America and Japan. At present, the technology of high temperature filtration and superfine fiber have made great contributions to mankind, especially in the medical and filter industry.

Yu Min said that the nano nonwovens equipment that came out at the Swiss nonwovens Exhibition (INDEX) in 2011 is a good illustration.

During the SARS period, 12 layers of cotton masks failed to meet hygiene standards, while only three layers of non-woven respirators could filter out pathogens.

The emergence of non-woven mask has changed people's daily life hygiene habits, which is also a great contribution to the human body by the non-woven industry.

Reporters learned that the Hongkong nonwovens Association changed once every two years. The first three directors were held by Yu Min, and the fourth to sixth chairman was held by Yang Ziran.

The purpose of the establishment of the Hongkong nonwoven association is to promote and protect the non-woven fabric industry in Hongkong and Mainland China, promote the trade of non-woven products, investigate and study all problems related to non-woven fabrics, promote sponsorship or oppose all legislation and other programmes related to non-woven fabrics, plate and interpret relevant laws in Hongkong for reference in the same industry, submit letters and applications to the government and any organization for non-woven industry related problems or events, and assist the government in all matters related to non-woven industry.

In the telephone interview, Yang Ziran said that since its establishment, the Hongkong nonwoven association has been adhering to the purpose of the founding, actively carrying out various activities and building multiple platforms. While doing well the assistants and staff members of the competent government departments and the trade associations, it has also insisted on providing all kinds of effective services for the member units, and promoting the friendly cooperation between the Hongkong nonwoven Association and other non-woven associations at home and abroad, and has played a bridge and tie role for the association.

For example, in 2008, sponsored by the Hongkong nonwoven Association, Hongkong Vocational Training Council VTC organized the "non-woven design contest", which not only popularized the knowledge of non-woven fabrics, but also improved the influence of non-woven fabrics industry.

In 2010, the Hongkong nonwovens Association donated 100 thousand yuan to Hong Kong Polytech University to study the life cycle of non-woven shopping bags, proving the environmental protection of non-woven shopping bags.

At the same time, the development of non-woven shopping bag testing instruments, marking the introduction of non-woven shopping bags testing methods and standards.

It is said that this is the 10th anniversary most significant contribution of the Hongkong nonwoven association to the industry.

"With the non-woven Association in Hongkong, we are eligible to participate in the highest level meetings in Asia and the world, so we can get information from various world associations.

For example, in 2011, free access to the standard information of the United States and Europe made the association enterprises a great help.

The development of Hongkong's nonwoven industry is closely related to the mainland's integration.

With China's reform and opening up, Hongkong's non-woven enterprises have migrated to the mainland in large numbers. China has actively introduced funds, advanced technology and international trade in the mainland of China. The Hongkong nonwoven association has actively promoted the public services of the industry, sparing no effort to create a favorable environment for the development of the member enterprises, and has made great progress in attracting the industry, and has made contributions to the development of China's non-woven industry.

It is understood that Yu Min and Yang Ziran's businesses are located in different cities of Guangdong.

During the 2003 SARS, the Hongkong nonwovens Association launched a plan to fight against SARS, actively launched the production of masks and surgical gowns, donated a lot of products to the relevant government departments, and won the affirmation of the Hongkong medical association with the help of the Legislative Yuan.

Domestic enterprises (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. also received the commendation of Guangdong Provincial Medical Association and Guangdong provincial economic and Trade Commission (three).

At the seminar, Li Lingshen interpreted China's industrial use to Hongkong nonwoven enterprises.

With the support of all walks of life, the Hongkong nonwoven association is close to the enterprise and is close to the industry, and has made many achievements for the development of the nonwoven industry.

But Yang also said humbly that compared with the advanced associations, they still have many gaps and lack of breakthroughs.

From the perspective of the whole industry, some enterprises are lack of innovation ability, and there is vicious competition in the market, which affects the whole industry's innovation and overall competitiveness.

The association's pioneering capability is not strong enough, and its industry activities with great influence need to be strengthened, and its innovation ability is not strong enough.

How to make the status and function of the association more and more important is an important task before the new Council of Hongkong nonwoven Association.

Yang Ziran believes that members' support is fundamental.

The work of the association can only be supported and developed by active service and innovative service. Only by giving the enterprise first benefits can the association generate income.

In the future, with the rapid development of the non-woven industry, the output and scale will expand dramatically. Mr. Yang said that the role of Hongkong nonwoven association is becoming more and more important.

The association will strive to play its role, strengthen solidarity and cooperation with people from all walks of life, and actively carry out industrial activities.
