Hebei Dongming Independent Innovation To Solve Tannery Pollution Problems

With the application of new technology and new technology, we can save 100 thousand tons of new water, save 150 thousand kilowatts of electricity every year, reduce emissions by 130 thousand tons per year and reduce emissions by COD840 tons.

However, this traditional process has undergone major changes in Hebei Dongming group, which is located in Xinji.
In the past, during the preparation process of cowhide tanning, the cattle hair was burned and discharged along with the waste water, which became an important factor for the high concentration of COD. Now, the wool was completely filtered out and turned into raw material for producing organic nitrogen fertilizer and nitrogen acid. The chrome liquid produced in leather tanning process was a serious pollution source in the past. How to manage it is a big problem. Now the recycling is realized, and the problem can be solved easily.
All the changes have come from the use of a new technology -- overload, drum, hair removal, hair removal, and recycling of wastewater from Liming and chrome tanning.
How can we solve the problem of water pollution and high water consumption in the traditional tannery industry?
Hebei Dongming group company has been looking for the answer. In 2006, the group hired professor Wei Shilin and Liu Zhenhua, a famous leather expert in China, to take the lead in technical research, and invested a total of 2 million yuan in research and development funds, and independently innovates on the basis of digestion and absorption of leather cleaning technology and waste water treatment technology at home and abroad.
After hundreds of experiments, 135 technical problems, such as chemical screening and its application methods, operation of overloading drum, recycling and treatment of waste water, have been conquered. The system technology integration of overloading drum, hair removal and hair removal, and the recycling of waste water and chrome tanning waste liquor has been formed.
From the lab to the mass production, the story of clean production in Dongming group of Hebei was first staged in the subsidiary company, Dongming Leather Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
In November 2006, the company first invested 6 million 300 thousand yuan to introduce the most advanced and largest tannery water processing equipment in China, namely, the 4.2*4 rice water immersion, the ash overloading rotary drum 10 units, the 4.0*3.8 rice tanning overloading drum 5 units, the investment of nearly ten million yuan, and the introduction of a set of automatic and intelligent leather drying production lines from Italy, becoming the few modern leather making enterprises in China.
The new equipment has the characteristics of large capacity and high accuracy, making the water consumption of tons of skin drop by more than 50%, and the electricity consumption dropped from 89 kwh to 67 kwh. The cow's hair has never been recovered to recover over 90%.
In November 5th, I saw in Dongming cowhide tanning Co., Ltd., there are 3 storage tanks on the south side of the water workshop. Under the blue enclosure, the continuous collection of sewage is just a "passer by".
Xie Shenghu, general manager of Dongming cowhide tannery Co., Ltd., proudly said that the leach wastewater and chrome tanning waste liquid in the tannery workshop were sieved and filtered. They were collected through special pipes for solid-liquid separation, precipitation treatment and laboratory test. The tannery wastewater was converted into tannery production water, and the chemical raw materials in the chrome tanning waste liquor were also recycled.
The actual production test shows that the adoption of new equipment, new technology and new technology can save 100 thousand tons of new water, save water 56%, save electricity 150 thousand kilowatt hours, reduce the total consumption of salt, sulphide, lime and chromium by 58%, reduce the sewage discharge by 130 thousand tons, and reduce 60% by the year. According to the existing production, the annual reduction of COD and suspended solids are 840 tons and 551 tons respectively, and the emission reductions are 50% and 60% respectively.
This waste water recycling system basically eliminates the pollution of sulfide and chromium ions to the environment, and will also increase the efficiency of 3 million 500 thousand yuan a year for enterprises.
Based on the successful operation of the leather leather company, the system will be put into operation in other subsidiaries of the Dongming group.
In June 1st this year, the Hebei Dongming group company overloaded the drum and hair removal method and used the lime and chrome tanning wastewater reclamation and reuse project through expert technology identification organized by the provincial science and technology department.
In September, the first world leather industry and development forum held in Beijing held that as an advanced model of energy saving, consumption reduction and emission reduction, the engineering technology of overloading drum and hair removal and the recycling technology of lime and chrome tanning wastewater was mature, and the effect of water saving, consumption reduction and emission reduction was obvious. It should be promoted in the whole industry.
