Therefore, accelerating the construction and research of the evaluation standard system of TiO2 photocatalyst textiles is of great significance for standardizing the market and promoting the development of photocatalyst industry.


    Japanese scientists first discovered the phenomenon of photocatalyst, and in the field of photocatalyst research and standard setting, Japan also took the lead in the world.

    Because there is no agreed experimental method to evaluate the photocatalyst performance, the quality standard of photocatalyst is mainly formulated by production enterprises, which seriously hinders the healthy development of photocatalyst market.

    In September 30, 2001, Japan established the Standardization Committee of photocatalyst to promote the formulation of the Japanese standard (JIS standard) and the international standard (ISO standard).
