The specific conditions for the Taiyuan taxi drivers to sign up for training are: having a permanent residence account or living in Taiyuan for more than 1 years (providing temporary residence certificate); having a junior high school education level; male 60 years old and female below 55 years old; healthy and infectious diseases; Mandarin speaking and clear oral expression; having obtained a driving license for more than two years (including two years); no major traffic accident in 3 years; no illegal behavior or criminal record.

From this year, those who meet the above conditions will be eligible to enroll in taxi driver training.

Speaking Putonghua is the minimum requirement.

After online comparison, 41 of the 1090 applicants this year did not meet the requirements.

In July 6th, the keynote speaker, the head of the Taiyuan Tourism Bureau, said in the training course that she hoped to let taxi drivers understand Taiyuan's tourist situation and the usual etiquette of reception services, so that more Chinese and foreign guests could get to know Taiyuan during the Expo and leave a good impression on Taiyuan.

If the examination fails, it will be regarded as unqualified training, and no taxi driver qualification certificate will be issued.

In the information base, every taxi driver's household registration status, certificate information, training situation and violation situation will be registered in detail.

A week later, more than 2.6 taxi operators in Taiyuan will also start their annual training.

This year, the Taiyuan passenger pport office has also strengthened the management of drivers who have obtained the qualification certificate for taxi drivers. The annual taxi drivers who violate the rules and records will be different from the general taxi drivers' annual training, which will not only extend their training time, but also increase training programs.
