The research report also put forward the goal of the development of industrial clusters in our province: forming a number of industrial clusters that are highly concentrated in industry, able to participate in international and domestic industrial chain division and cooperation, and lead in the western region, and provide support for the formation of regional economic development.

By 2010, we will strive to form 50 industrial clusters with a production value of more than 1 billion yuan. Among them, 50-100 key industrial clusters or industrial agglomeration areas reach 50-100 yuan, reaching 20, reaching 10 over 10 billion yuan.

Each prefectures and cities form 2-3 dominant industries or distinctive industries with significant supporting role in local economy.

In terms of the target of clustered organization, by 2020, 5-10 large scale enterprises with international competitiveness will be trained in the key industrial clusters, and 100 leading enterprises in the leading industry of "specialized, sophisticated, special and new" industries.

The 12 industrial clusters in our city are listed in the key development. The research group selects 11 industrial clusters in Chengdu, Deyang and Zigong as the research objects.

From the analysis of the region, the industrial clusters in our province are mainly concentrated in the Chengdu plain economic circle, with the Chengdu as the origin, with the trunk lines of Baocheng, Cheng Kun, Chengdu and Chongqing as the main trunk lines, such as Chengya, Chengle, Chengyu, Chengnan and chengmian freeways.

In the 26 industrial clusters surveyed, there are 12 industrial clusters in our city, which are listed as the key development objects.

As the highest state of industrial cluster development, it is a comprehensive industrial cluster, which refers to a relatively high cluster of economic scale and cluster quality. These clusters have prominent characteristics of development and have a certain industry status. They are the first tier and dragon head of the development of industrial clusters in our province.

The footwear industry and furniture industry in our city is included in this type of industrial cluster, and as a classic of industrial cluster development, it promotes experience to the whole province.

The report analyzed the furniture industry in our city, and said: in the three main furniture industries of our city, a relatively independent and specialized furniture industry cluster has been basically formed. The cluster industry is more varied than the whole industry, and the cluster enterprises are moving from homogenization competition to differential competition.

For the footwear industry, vertical specialization has been basically formed, and the supporting network has been formed, and the synergy between enterprises has initially appeared.

The research report also suggests that the footwear industry and furniture industry in our city should strengthen the work of industrial scale development, upstream and downstream development of the industrial chain, and promote the healthy and rapid development of the whole industry.
