6 Litres Of Milk Make A Dress.
German designers predict that biological clothing is the trend of fashion industry.
Anke Domask, a German fashion designer, made special fabrics from casein in milk powder and released milk fashions.
Milk fashion
Mr. musk is 28 years old and lives in Hebei. He studied microbiology.
She cooperated with the Research Institute of fiber and fiber to extract casein from milk powder, add special mixture, put into equipment similar to meat grinder, and heat, pressurize, shape and so on in the laboratory. It took about two years to create artificial milk fiber without any chemical substances.
On the 6 day, it was quoted by Mr. musk as saying that milk fabrics appeared in the 30s of last century, but chemical substances were widely used in the production process. "We have developed pure natural fabrics rich in casein and other ingredients are also derived from nature."
Multi musk named QMilch for the new fabric and introduced his fashion brand "Miss Hu". According to her introduction, about 6 litres of milk can make a dress with a price ranging from 150 to 200 euros (about 199 to 266 dollars).
Miss QMilch is using part of the existing women's clothing, and multi musk intends to launch all the clothes made by QMilch and enter the men's wear market.
Special fiber
QMilch is completely free from chemicals and extracted from milk that can not be used for food production. The fabric made of it has good shape and color stability, silk like texture, no taste, washable, and the process is quite environmentally friendly, and the price is lower than that of acrylic fiber.
During the study, Muscat tested milk from different animals, including sheep, goats and cattle. It was found that only casein in milk was suitable for forming fibers. "Milk contains protein that is good for skin and milk fiber can keep people's skin young," she said.
This invention was awarded the German innovation textile award in July this year. "The biological clothing is the main trend of the fashion industry, and we are ahead of it."
Broad market
Biological clothing is a hot topic in recent two years. For example, researchers have developed multifunctional fabrics made of spider silk, combined with electronic products, which can be made into intelligent products such as automatic music playing clothes and pajamas that can read. The multifunctional intelligent fiber can be made from the extraordinary characteristics of organisms, so that the fabric has the characteristics of never fading, blocking laser or strong ultraviolet resistance.
Heike Scheuer, a spokeswoman for the International Federation of natural textile industry, said: "sustainable topics have become a huge driving force."
Although milk fiber is not available at large at this stage, he says it can be used in many areas, such as clothing and home textiles, hotel decoration and automotive decoration, or cosmetic and medical industries. It is of good quality and contains antibacterial and anti allergic amino acids, especially for allergic people.
