Chemical fiber textile industry is the leading industry in Xiaoshan, mainly concentrated in the big east new town and surrounding town streets. It has become the largest chemical fiber textile production base in the whole country and even the world, and has an important influence on the textile industry in China and the world. The state hopes to establish a demonstration base for the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade, improve the reputation and image of China made, optimize the product mix, and push foreign trade from strength to strength.

The idea of establishing a demonstration base by the Ministry of Commerce coincided with our plan to vigorously promote the transformation and upgrading of the chemical fiber textile industry. In recent years, Xiaoshan chemical fiber textile base has been carrying out a series of effective measures to support the listing of enterprises, encourage enterprises to build bases, introduce advanced equipment, strengthen cooperation in production, learning and research, and cultivate leading chemical fiber enterprises. It is reported that in the first half of this year, the export of base chemical fiber textiles increased by 38.01% over the same period last year, and the export growth rate was 10 percentage points higher than that of the same industry in the whole country. Hengyi, Xiangsheng and other enterprises export growth is above 60%. In the "12th Five-Year plan" outline of our district, it is also clear that we should thoroughly implement the "100 billion industrial development project" and expand the leading industries such as chemical fiber and textile, and the total amount of chemical fiber textile industry will exceed 300 billion yuan at the end of 12th Five-Year.
