Ministry Of Commerce Will Draft Regulations On Online Retail Management

In response to the recent siege of big businesses in small and medium-sized enterprises in Taobao mall, Shen Danyang, spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, said today that we should speed up the construction of legal management system for online retailing. At present, we need to promote the establishment of "Regulations on online retail management", which is led by the Ministry of Commerce and drafted as early as possible.

Therefore, we believe that we should speed up the construction of legal management system for online retailing. At present, we need to promote the establishment of the "Regulations on online retail management", which will be drafted by the Ministry of Commerce and promulgated as early as possible, so as to form a market access and exit system for the third party trading platform, improve market rules, clarify the rights, responsibilities and obligations of the participants in the online retail market, further clarify the management responsibilities of relevant departments, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the online retail market.

In the first ten days of October, the Taobao mall announced the new fee rules, which increased the annual fee of the technical services to Taobao sellers from 6000 yuan to 30 thousand yuan and 60 thousand yuan two grades, and the margin also increased from 10 thousand yuan to 50 thousand yuan, 100 thousand yuan and 150 thousand yuan three stalls.

This caused a lot of small and medium-sized sellers dissatisfaction, some of the big sellers of Taobao mall were also attacked by thousands of small and medium businesses.

On the afternoon of 17 th, Alibaba group announced in Hangzhou that the new rules of Taobao mall were postponed. The execution point of the existing merchants will be postponed until next September 30th, and the new business will be implemented in January 1st.
