The Li Keno pearl fiber is made from the blend of ultrafine pearl particles and cellulose spinning liquid. It feels smooth, soft, cool and has a silky luster. Because pearl fiber is viscose as carrier, its basic physical properties are similar to viscose fiber: moisture regain rate is about 13%, density is about 1.52g/cm3, single fiber strength is greater than 1.95cN/dtex, wet strength is greater than 1.05cN/dtex, dry fracture elongation is more than 15%. Pearl fiber has good dyeing and bright coloring, and conventional acid and alkali post-treatment do not affect the properties and nutritional components of pearl fiber.

The main component of pearl is calcium carbonate, which has strong shielding and ultraviolet absorption function, and also a low temperature far-infrared emitter. The effect of Pearl superfine crushing is obviously enhanced. The particle size of pearl powder added below 300nm is close to the ultraviolet wavelength, so the effect of ultraviolet protection is particularly remarkable. After testing, the transmittance of pearl, Tencel, modal UVA and UVB for each Mick weighing 210 grams is only 0.1%, and the UV protection coefficient is UPF>50; while the UV protection coefficient of the cotton / pearl fiber blended 120S/2 and the weight of 120 grams per UVB of the thin shirt fabric is UPF>32, which is more than twice that of the same fabric.

It has been tested that pearl fiber blended knitted Jersey has the function of far-infrared emission and absorbs far infrared waves radiated by human body heat. Pearl fiber has good spinnability and can be blended with various textile materials to develop new kinds of textiles. At present, knitted and woven products blended with cotton, Tencel, modal, cashmere, silk and other fibers have been developed and gained market recognition. Pearl fiber, which contains natural pearls, contains many kinds of amino acids and trace elements which are peculiar to pearl. These nutrients will gradually dissolve in the acidic environment of human skin and nourish human skin.

The long-term prospect of a patent

Nowadays, the prices of all kinds of raw materials of textile and clothing are rising rapidly, and we can find and develop new marketable fibers. Yin Yaoxiang said: "Li Keno pearl fiber is a new functional textile material, and it is also an invention patent with independent intellectual property rights in China. The patent was officially authorized by the State Intellectual Property Office in January 2008."

Pearl fiber has been put into industrial application till now, and a complete industrial chain has been initially formed.
