After winning the gold medal of the Tenth China Cup International Costume Design Competition in 2004, Yang Jie's deconstruction design touched three presidents of the European Design Institute (IED), the Northumbrian University of England and the City University of Manchester in Italy. They came to their alma mater Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology and were willing to offer Yang Jie a full master's degree scholarship.

Because he loved the art of Renaissance in Italy, he chose the European Design Institute (IED) studying in Milan, Italy.

During the period of studying abroad, Italy, an ancient art country and the international fashion capital of Milan, made Yang Jie's step again feel the violent collision of culture and the interweaving of thoughts.

When I was studying in China, I never met men's clothing design because I felt that men's clothes were extremely boring in the domestic environment.

In Milan, Yang Jie saw that men's clothes could be so diverse and beautiful, and men's clothes were colorful.

Another cultural collision and the interweaving of thinking made Yang Jie get full marks in the design of men's wear in Milan. This full score is not only the beauty of designing pictures, but also the understanding of men's aesthetic standards and the true understanding of Italy men's wear.

To understand the new world of men's wear during the period of studying abroad, and to inspire the full score, we determined the design road after men's design.

After returning home, Yang Jie taught at his alma mater, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology. He learned from the experience of men's clothing design course in Italy, and was responsible for compiling the syllabus.

At the same time, because of the influence of fashion design education in Italy, practice has always been put in the first place.

After many years of study, work and practice, Yang Jie has many successful practice cases besides the many design awards. However, these enviable designs come from Yang Jiezhi, the Miao man of the 1980s.
