Shoe Factories In Shapingba District Fire Shoes, Shoes And Materials Turn To Ashes.

From midnight to early morning, a fire blazed on a shoe factory in Geleshan town of Shapingba district.

The fire continued to burn for 7 hours due to the reburning of cloth, glue and chemical fiber materials. The shoes of 4 storey storeroom in the shoe factory and all finished or semi finished shoes in the workshop were turned to ashes.

At 0:00 hours yesterday, 11 hours, the city 119 command center received the alarm: the new town of Geleshan Town, lower Bay Bay, Hong Kong shoe factory fire!

The command center has ordered the fire fighting squadron of Tong Jia Qiao and the university town fire brigade in the sand area to rush to the scene.

When the 5 fire engines arrived, they saw that all the offices, warehouses and production workshops of the Qinggang shoe factory, which were 4 storeys high, had all been caught in flames, and flames and black smoke continued to emerge from the windows.

Fortunately, no one was trapped in the workshop.

Fire fighters found that the glass and ceramic tiles on the exterior walls of the shoe factory were roasted, with cracks on one side of the walls.

Taking into account the safety of the people involved in the fire fighting, soldiers immediately pulled out the warning line to evacuate the fire fighting crowd, and set up a fire ladder to control the fire with water guns at the windows on both sides of the building.

Due to the large number of (half) finished shoes, cloth and chemical fiber raw materials and rubber products stacked in the warehouse and production workshop of the shoe factory, the fire spread immediately after the fire spread.

At 1 a.m., under the cover of a water gun, two groups of fire fighters carried air breathing apparatus into the workshop to extinguish fire.
