Recently, Guangdong New Textile Co., Ltd., located in Lechang, Shaoguan, was formally put into operation and became the only item of special yarn production line in Southern China. Its goal is to become the largest special yarn base in Southern China. At the same time, Foshan Lisheng textile, Xin Chi textile and other projects also successfully settled in Lechang Industrial Park.

At the end of last month, Guangdong new spinning textile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "new spinning union"), which was located in Lechang, Shaoguan, was formally put into operation.

The birth of the new spinning Union has caused a strong shock in the textile industry of the whole province: not only because it is the only production project of special yarn production in Southern China, but also because its company chairman Pang Chengfa is ambitious to put it on the launching ceremony: to make it the largest special yarn base in Southern China.

At the same time, it attracted the attention of the industry: Foshan Lisheng textile, Xin Chi textile and other projects also successfully settled in Lechang Industrial Park, thus making Lechang textile and garment enterprises reach nearly 30.

Such a situation has attracted the industry's exclamation: Shaoguan's textile wind is coming back.

Looking back at history

Lechang used to be an important textile base in Southern China.

Lechang is located in the northernmost part of Guangdong province. It is known as the "north gate of Guangdong". It is the junction center of Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi and Jiangxi provinces. Beijing Guangzhou railway, Wuhan Guangzhou high Qian, 107 national highway, provincial highway 248, Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao highway run across the territory, and Guangle expressway is stepping up construction. The favorable traffic location will help Lechang truly integrate into the "one hour economic circle" in the Pearl River Delta, and accelerate its undertaking of industrial spanfer.

Lechang's textile and garment industry has a long history. Lechang is located in the northernmost part of Guangdong. Climate, temperature and humidity are very suitable for the development of textile and garment industry. Textile and garment enterprises in the province have chosen to take root in Lechang. In the 60s of last century, Lechang was the "small third line" construction base in Guangdong province. In the province, various types of industrial enterprises were built, and nearly ten textile and garment enterprises, including cotton mills, hemp mills, cotton mills, towel factories and garment factories, were established.

From 60s to 80s of last century, Lechang was an important textile base in Southern China. After decades of accumulation, Lechang now has a relatively strong industrial base and a relatively complete industrial system, which occupies an important position in the province's industry.

In recent years, Lechang has focused on the revitalization plan of the ten key industries of the country, combining the existing power, building materials, textile and garment, machinery manufacturing, new chemical industry, biological health care and other industries, focusing on building leading industries such as textiles and clothing.

It is reported that Lechang has continuously optimized its investment environment and issued a series of preferential policies to provide investors with "one-stop" quality service. At the same time, Lechang regards the construction of industrial parks as an important carrier and platform for attracting investment, and enlarges the intensity of development and construction. Dongguan (Dong Keng) Lechang industrial spanfer industrial park was recognized by the provincial government as a provincial industrial spanfer industrial park in 2006, and the industrial park is dominated by textile and clothing industries.

At present, Lechang has planned to build more than 1600 mu of land in the industrial park for the construction of textile and garment industry area, supporting textile and chemical industry, textile raw materials and other processes, with a total investment of 800 million yuan for the 200 thousand spindle combed cotton textile project and an annual output of 1500 tons of spinning project.

Through efforts, the industrial park has become an important platform for Lechang to undertake the textile and garment industry spanfer and build a textile and garment base in North Guangdong.

Reviving the textile and garment industry is not a dream.

There are nearly 30 textile and garment enterprises in Lechang. The total output value was 369 million yuan last year, with an added value of 210 million yuan, and the textile and garment industry chain has initially formed. Lechang HENGFA Textile Enterprise Limited "North Guangdong textile industry project" is listed as the 500 largest modern industry in Guangdong province.

Last year, Guangzhou Guang Fang Lian Group Co., Ltd., in accordance with the development strategy of Guangzhou textile industry and trade group "big trade Seiko", CO operated with Lechang HENGFA Textile Co., Ltd. for 40 thousand spindles special yarn base. After commissioning, it is estimated that the new spinning union can form the production capacity of 40 thousand spindles for producing special yarn, achieving annual output value of 200 million yuan, annual profits and taxes 6 million yuan, and 500 new jobs.

The entry of Guang Fang Lian Group not only fills the blanks of the special yarn technology production line of Lechang textile products, but also has great significance to revitalize Lechang's textile and garment industry and accelerate the industrialization process of Lechang, marking the development of the textile industry in Lechang has entered a new milestone.
