Why Does A Good Project Product Agent Fail?
The risk of a single product as a project promotion is very large. In the near future, the body is always unwell, the weather changes, the heavy work, the endless project planning, and the exhaustion of body and mind.
Today, in a chat with an old friend, my friend's bitter smile and the confusion of his failure to start a business, I decided to write the following sentiment for our entrepreneurs in the evening.
Case: in 2004, my friend chose a literacy project for early education in many projects.
When the samples were bought, friends were attracted by the charm of the products. After visiting many parents and teachers, they agreed highly about the products.
Friends then took the agency power, worked hard and recruited a group of salesmen, but because of the high operating cost and poor management, they were forced to develop their own market. Although the market developed some, still paid more than the reward, and persisted for a year, the vigorous project failed.
In the confused eyes of friends, mumbling, "why is such a product so bad that many agents fail?"
In early 2005, friends were forced to take up other jobs.
Combined with my experience in brand agency, there are failures and successes. After sober consideration, I came to the following conclusion: the quality of any product is a foundation for the development of the project market, but more support from the objective environment.
The failure of early education programs for friends is not based on products.
Is the problem on consumers?
Some agents fail to come to the conclusion that the price is too high to afford.
In fact, as an excellent early education achievement, in the early days, the goal was often to locate in cities, parents willing to invest more for their children, and schools requiring special teaching.
Price is not the key to the problem.
As far as I know, many of the projects undertaken by friends are very good today.
What is the reason?
First, the item company in the early stage of market development to ensure that the quality of products listed, but there is no financial strength or unwilling to take publicity, resulting in good products but no one knows; second, product agents are often small and medium entrepreneurs, this part of the group has passion, but there is no sufficient capital base to allow publicity to expand the market; third, product analysis focuses on consumer consumption as the premise, many project analysis shows the potential of product development, rather than the current agency business effect, the pursuit of small / amount, low risk, agent marketing strategy.
Those who broke the heart are actually not the entrepreneurs who are not good at patience, but do not have so many lasting strength to fight, even if you are very budgetary. Moreover, the first round of wealth accumulation of item company in this kind of products comes from the recognition of good products, the threshold of small businesses, and so on. These enterprises can often develop themselves, but the first round of joining agents is not strong enough to fail. Secondly, entrepreneurs do not realize that a new product breaks through the market, and the necessary publicity is necessary; finally, there is a product in the industry, and only a proxy is isolated. Even if the profit is very high, the small and medium entrepreneurs can not run to the final stage without the rapid increase. The result is a good project.
Many entrepreneurs put forward a question: why can anyone do well, and how do we do such potential and valuable businesses?
I think there are the following points: first, for those who do not have strong financial strength, engaging in outstanding product projects in any industry must have the idea of lasting development and can not be impulsive; second, the highlights of the diversified operation of the industry projects (including how to deal with the combination of the original venture capital) or similar industry experience and relationship; third, waiting for the regional market to be eliminated after a round of elimination, the chances of success are greater, not what we think is a flash in the pan.
The characteristics of a good project include the market, the need to do the right thing, the time and the influence, otherwise the promotion of new products will be difficult.
